Intense and Solid
These pedals are intense! They are nice and slim, but solid under the foot After getting myself a Trek Xcaliber 8, I figured the stock pedals were no good and had to go. These pedals were a good pick and as an avid off-roader, these pedals have exceeded my expectations. On the first ride I felt no slippage whatsoever and I ride trails with inclines, declines and massive root systems. I would suggest that only the most skilled riders use these because they are very solid and the spikes will gouge you if you are not in complete control. A little healthy respect for the equipment can help prevent injury, but being able to settle in and enjoy the ride has been my experience with these. I look forward to many more great rides in the future.

My current favorite pedals.
I've only got about 100 miles on these so far, but they're super smooth and grippy. I was a little worried about my shins at first, but my feet stay firmly planted on these bad boys, so slipping and bonking them definitely isn't a concern.

These are not alloy like advertised. I ordered Mesa 61's - received plastic
Not sure if it was just an item mix-up or a seller mistake, but what I ordered and what I got was 2 different things. The plastic Fyxation Platforms are disposable, the Mesa's are aluminum. Not easy to confuse. Love the Mesa's - bought them somewhere else. You should too.

Great pedals for a fixie!
I replaced my stock pedals on my specialized langster as the plastic pedal cracked. I ride fixed on the langster i was afraid that the pedals would be too wide for cornering, but due to their thin construction they are as good as the narrower stock pedals. Besides that they feel very rigid and their grip on the shoes is excellent, also in bad weather. I Use them with the Fyxation Gates pedal straps and have yet to experience any drawbacks.

These pedals will hurt your feet on rides longer than 3-4 miles. To a local spot and back you'll be fine but any longer and you will be in pain. That leaves out anyone trying to get any serious riding whatsoever, people training for races or messengers riding their bike for a living. These pedals are an absolute mess and extremely expensive given their shortcomings to boot.

huge surface area
these are solid pedals, but they are quite heavy and easy to hit on the ground on turns. had them on my fixie, so it is hard to time your pedals with your turns.

Fell apart, poor customer service.
Bearings died after very little use. Company doesn't care about customer service after sale is completed. Sad because I really wanted to support them.

Pros: -Looks good. -Price was reasonable. -Pins are replaceable (spares and a wrench included). -Solid. Cons: -Better have a wide foot, pedals are almost too wide to get all the pins under my shoe at the same time. -Made in China (not too surprised, but it would have been nice to have something built ins the US). -Bearings were a bit tight and made noise when pedaling; however, it seems that they have broken in after approx 60 miles of riding.

Es el 3er producto que compro de esta marca! Que excelente calidad/precio. El pedal es para pies medianos/grandes. Incluye 4 pins de repuesto y la mini-herramienta para cambiarlos. Son muy comodos para la ciudad, y se ven excelentes. Los recomiendo mucho.
