Better as a sit and stand or triple
My rating is based solely on this stroller as a single because that is what you get if you buy this product. However my review will include information on it as a sit and stand, double, or triple. This product, purchased as is here, is a single stroller. And it is a single stroller with some nice touches. It comes with; -belly bar (this is usually an add on for strollers in this price range) which is removable and swivel away from either side. - seat, which is reversible and reclinable, however it only has an 18.5” seatback which is pretty low for a nicer stroller. Also the footrest is not adjustable. Since this is a bucket seat stroller a non adjustable footrest is only a big deal when baby is old enough to sit upright but not tall enough for their knee to bend at the end of the seat. However, if the footrest were adjustable you could also adjust it level with the folded frame and cut several inches off the folded length of this stroller. This is the first time I’ve seen a full size stroller that didn’t have an adjustable footrest. -canopy, it is extendable by an easy zipper, once extended it can reach all the way to the belly bar. Instead of a peekaboo window the last panel of fabric can be folded out of the way to reveal mesh, you can watch baby or use this for airflow. This is a very nice touch. -basket, the basket is insane. It has high enough sides to hold stuff in but not so high to make it inaccessible from the sides. You can access it from all 4 sides of the stroller with ease. Even if the seat is in the lower position and you feel like it’s a little more difficult, the front unzips to make accessibility easier. The basket is big enough to easily fit TWO good size diaper bags. -handlebar, is nice and leather covered although my leather is starting to puff a bit at the area where it meets the center adjustment button and it’s only a month old. The handlebar is telescoping which is quite nice when using the bench seat, though I think they could add 1 more adjustment and it would be better for taller parents and for not kicking the feet of a bench seat rider (and would allow a child on a rider board to be able to stand between the canopy and handle even if the seat was in the upper position) -fold, is a bit big for a single stroller, I refer back to my comment on the adjustable footrest. I do like that it folds in 1 piece so you do not have to remove the seat in upper or lower position. I also like that the fold is no bigger with the tote or bench seat attached as well. The way it folds though leaves much to be desired. If you want to keep a meticulous stroller don’t even try the Qool, it folds onto the floor which scratches up your footrest. It also does not stand when folded. I’ve managed to learn to grab the belly bar as I’m folding it to hold it and keep it from falling onto the concrete. It also is a 2 hand fold, you have to pull up on peices on each side of the handlebar. -weight, again, a bit heavy for a single but not any bigger than a comparable stroller like the Baby Jogger City select -frame, seems very sturdy, doesn’t have any wriggle too it. It has 2 slots to put the seat into. However you need adaptors in the slots to fit the seat into and it only comes with 1 set and another seat isn’t easily ordered from Amazon. What does this mean? It means if you have baby in the lower position, maybe to give a bench rider more space, and then you arrive at a cafe and want to use the stroller right at the table you not only have to remove the seat but you have to remove the adapters, move them to the upper position and then move the seat into the adapters. This isn’t a huge deal but, if you’re thinking of little details like a leather handlebar and included belly bar, why are we not including 2 adapters or an adjustable footrest? It’s like they thought of the little things and stopped including them halfway through design. The frame also has slots to put in front adapters (sold separately) to convert it to a double stroller (or to use your seat with the tote, sold separately). -wheels, the wheels are a good size, it handled grass, dirt, gravel, and cracks in the sidewalk with ease, even with someone in the bench seat. Yet they aren’t so big that the fold is huge. Now, there are accessories you can buy, including ones that will make this a sit and stand or a double or triple stroller. Everything is sold separately. You can buy the bench seat which works with the seat in the upper or lower positions forward facing. In the upper position you lose a lot of rear accessibility to the basket but have a ton from the front. In the lower position you can still access the basket behind the bench seat. The bench seat easily clicks on and off or can be folded with the stroller. It has a backrest, adjustable footrest, and seatbelt. Though the seat, in my humble opinion, isn’t the sturdiest, it’s not even a board but more like a really sturdy cardboard. It works but I’ve had a kid stand on it trying to see over the canopy and that pops the seat through the frame partially and then it has to be popped back. Again, the little details. You can buy front adapters for the seat, this allows you to use the seat with the tote while forward facing or with the bench seat parent facing (these positions are not possible without the front adapters). Using the seat with the front adapters though makes the stroller almost as long as any double tandem stroller. You can buy a second seat to use with the front adapters. These allows you to have a double stroller with 2 full seats or a triple stroller with 2 full seats and 1 bench seat. The nice thing is that the second seat is a full size, same as the original, seat. You can also buy a bassinet or car seat adapters for use with your newborn. As a single the stroller is OK but there are many similar options. It pushes well as a single and even as a double or triple. As a double you still have to remove the second seat to fold it so I don’t really feel like it has anything over the City Select or Contours strollers. But as a triple or single with a bench seat it shines. There are so few “triple” options that aren’t a beast. And most sit and stand options either cannot be folded without removing or their are nearly as big as a double stroller so don’t save you any space. This stroller folds with the bench attached and folded or open it’s not any bigger with the bench attached. I still feel like, for this price, there are some details they missed. But it fits in such a missed stroller market that it’s really THE option for those unique situations.

Great quality
I have been using it for almost three years, it is still in good condition. Never had any issues. It is heavy and bulky. But is so easy to push around, easier than my umbrella stroller! So much space underneath so I always bring it when I go to the grocery. Yes, I use it as my shopping cart! I love that it can be changed to a double stroller as well, even though I did not have a second child as I planned. It is also pretty, has good material and design looks expensive. And most importantly, so comfy for my child to seat and nap. She used the Joovy bassinet for the first couple of months, then used the seat since 3 months old. I just got her a scooter and passed my Joovy Qool and accessories to a dear friend whose baby is due March 2022. Be aware it is heavier than many other trollers in the market, I love it but I also got a small stroller for travel. (Not sure if they change the material of the new model. They can be lighter. The 2019 version is about 30 lbs.)

Best Stroller for the price! Sturdy with RUBBER wheels!!
I wanted to buy this stroller last year for my 2 kids under 2 bc it looked similar in function to the high end UppaBaby Vista, but I didn't bc there were so many negative reviews claiming the fold sucked and you would scratch up the frame. Well I took the plunge this week and sold my Valco Baby side by side bc the basket was difficult to access, and I am soooo happy with my purchase. All you have to do is lock the wheels and pull up on the stroller to fold it so the front end doesn't slam on the ground. There is a really good review on Youtube from a Vlogger that can show how to do it. It is super easy, and your frame will not touch the ground. I remove the seat to make it even lighter to lift. I drive a Ford Edge and have plenty of space. The stroller is solid. I am using it as a 1.5 stroller with the bench seat and main seat in the middle position. This makes the push super easy bc the stroller is the length of a single stroller. The basket is amazing. I can hold so much stuff in it which is primarily what I wanted it for. So I could shop with both my kids without having to put them in a cart. Overall, I am kicking myself that I didn't buy this last year. It's the only stroller that I have been super excited to use and take to the stores with me. Great job Joovy! Now I just need all the accessories!!

Had good potential but don’t live up to it
The handlebar got stuck at one position after 3 months of use. It’s very bulky and hard to navigate. I should have gotten the old Joovy Qool for less

Buy it if you got 3 kiddos close in age!
Love it! Here is a way to fit a newborn without buying the bassinet (just the uppababy snug seat $30) and 2 toddlers about 35 pounds each. In other to do this configuration you got to make sure the top seat is one level laying down vs all the way straight..not super comfy for the child on the bottom bench seat, because they don’t have enough space, but still a temporary option for quick rest. Once your baby can sit up you turn the lower seat forward and move the top seat on the lower level so you can fit the 3rd child more comfy on the bench seat. Pics attached to make more sense to you! Joovy could have definitely done a better job with more space by turning the bench seat the other way n selling the attachment back rest option for the 3rd child like they have it for their other triple stroller that has the small wheels and lacks the amazing mobility and design this one has. Anyway for the price you get a great stroller and you can fit 3 kiddos..like no other stroller on the market at the moment..n yes I have done the research..you are welcome:) Update: the Joovy is still great, but moms of 3 might find the Zoe triple stroller, slightly cheaper and lighter, a better option:)

3 years later UPDATE: still going strong
Update: My youngest is almost 3, and i use it from time to time if i do long walks. My oldest, almost 6, can still use the bench, but we rarely let her use it. Maybe for an exception today as we will be walking uphill. It does so well in winter (Ontario, Canada). I still wish it was available when i had my first. You wont regret this stroller. ---------------‐--——— So, to use it as a triple when baby was using the bucket/infant car seat, the car seat had to be installed at the front. The second seat only facing forward. My oldest could not use the bench when her toddler brother napped. Now that baby is using the toddler seat, my 4 yr old when "tired", can use the bench. But only when the seats are facing forwards. Not a big deal. And for us this works. When we do go for car rides, my husband complains about taking it in and out of the car. It does take up a lot of space. Currently we have a Jeep Grand Cherokee. However, personally don't mind especially bc when we do go out we are walking everywhere. Everyone has a seat. Everyone is happy. We take turns pushing. I am 5'2 and hubs is 5'8. Love that we can adjust the heights on the handle bars. Our oldest doesn't nap anymore. She knows when the babies need to nap, the seats need to recline and she knows the bench is out of service. This is a good time to build up her endurance and prepare for school. Yes, it is a heavy frame but for a good reason to accommodate 3 little ones. It did well in the snow this past winter. I don't drive yet, and we moved out of the big city. So I am using this everywhere. The best stroller ever! And, even more so, the price for a triple stroller, it just can't be beat. ____________________ I read all the positive reviews and took the negative into consideration before making the purchase. I was nervous, took the risk and am so glad I did. This has been the BEST stroller for my family. Not only is it affordable (got it on a VERY good sale), i wish it came out 3 years ago before my first was born. It is very sturdy. When my girl sits on the bench at the back and my 11 month old on the seat, i don't feel their weight at all (together they weigh 56 lbs). I didn't like the city select bc I felt not only their weight but also the stroller's. (Take advantage of this sale before it ends. As a TRIPLE stroller including the second seat, bench and adapters, it came up to only $815 before tax!) I love how big the wheels are. I love that you can choose the seat's height when using it as a single stroller. Baby three is coming in August, we are prepared for her. The car seat adapter for Chicco is great too! (I will update once we actually use the adapter and car seat when baby comes) Folding is so simple and easy. It doesn't fold inwards to protect the seats, so you do risk it getting dirty. It is quite heavy to lift, but as a mama you have to do what you have to do. 5'2 and I find the height perfect. When using it as a double it is quite high, but that is to be expected for any tandem stroller as I am vertically challenged. ???? The under basket is the biggest I have ever had on a stroller. We fit about 5 bags of groceries this past weekend. You can fold it with a few things left inside like my girl's travel potty seat, jackets, etc. I love the seating position possibilites. I personally do not like using straps to recline, but thank goodness this stroller has a button mechanism at the top of the seat instead! I love how the adapters for the second seat easily slides and clips in and out. The canopies are so nice too! I love the mesh window and how it extends. On a very windy day, it can blow back if it isn't pulled down all the way. I really wanted side by side, but living in the city, especially a condo isn't realistic. This is by far the best tandem stroller I have come across, not only is it sturdy and maneuverable, but also affordable than the uppa baby! (Again, i got it on a good sale) I love that the older child can actually sit instead of stand. I thought my girl could handle standing...but after very long mornings pf activities or a long walk, she is still little and so tired and prefers to sit. It has straps to buckle the child in to secure them. To put the stroller together, didn't even need to use the manual. The design and look of it is very chic, but I am not into fashionable things. It is a bonus. As a TRIPLE stroller, it is perfect! I totally highly recommend this stroller to any family having more than one baby. You will definitely get your money's worth as your family grows. Invest in a good stroller at the beginning to save yourself money.

Love It!
This was our first time ever buying a stroller, and I really wanted to get something that will grow with our family, but also not cost a thousand dollars. This stroller is the one we chose, and we are very content with it! I love everything that it claims to do. I like the fact that it can hold a heavier weight than most strollers, which would make it perfect for those times that my toddler doesn't want to walk anymore. He does look big in the actual seats, but he isn't bothered by it at all. Some of the things that I would like to see changed is the way it folds and unfolds. It's not difficult to do either of those things, but since it folds down, the whole thing can just come crashing down if you're not prepared. Folding it up and open it up also leaves the stroller prone to scraping the ground. So either, the way it folds will be changed, or there will be something implemented so the stroller does not get scratched. Overall, we are very pleased! We love how it's very customizable, and we definitely recommend it!

Best. Stroller. Ever.
This is seriously the best stroller ever! I actually really liked my former stroller, but we needed something that both my 1 year old and 4 year old could ride in. After endless hours of research, we settled on the Joovy Qool. I found that it was one of the only strollers with a higher weight restriction (110 lbs). My 4 year old is already 40 lbs, and that’s when most of the other sit and stands max out for the sit part of the stroller. We bought the Joovy bench for her to click onto the actual stroller and she absolutely loves it! She loves being able to walk, but then hop on when her little legs get tired. My 1 year old loves being able to sit so high and upright in the stroller seat. The sun shade is so soft and flexible with UV protection. My husband is over 6 feet and loves that the handle is adjustable to his height. His only complaint is that he can’t walk a full stride when the bench is on, but that’s a not a huge issue at all. All in all, we think this stroller rules!

Best value! 2 years later no regret!
Liked: Potential for double even triple stroller Leather telescoping handbar Big storage and big wheels (4 winter jackets and more) Can raise the seat to highest position for tall couple. Smooth turning and pushing in malls, alright on concrete floors outside. Disliked: Manufacturer defective adapters that doesn't fit maxicosi on one side. May need two people to fit the car seat on due to lots of pulling and pushing Awkward fold and it can't stand by itself once folded. To avoid damaging or scratching the stroller on the floor you have to constantly hold it Not that compact once folded so always have to take out a storage bin from trunk when taking this Update: Been more than 2 years since using this, and jad numerous other strollers in between (lightweight, bassinet based etc). This stroller still by far the best and go to. Baby sits very comfortably and canopy is huge. The giant wheels made for perfect ride. We have even taken this to bumpy trails a lot of times and still feels like when we purchased it. Without regret the best stroller. My kid love to sit on the bench seat now shes older, and she can gets on and off fairly quickly herself.

Affordable and well made but poor ergonomics and design for small families.
User manual, installation: I spent a good chunk of a weekend to test the stroller thoroughly. I took me less than an hour to install the stroller. I was not impressed with the packaging. The front wheels were so tightly packaged together that the rubber was crooked on one due to the force of the other wheel on it. Several foam padding pieces were placed incorrectly resulting in metal on metal contact which caused several scratches on the frame. The instructions were incomplete and did not really walk me through the wheel assembly which is not obvious since we did not have kids before. Overall, I suggest you use common sense while installing this and not refer solely to the user manual. Design and quality: This stroller easily rivals Uppababy vista when it comes to feel and build quality. There are odd color choices however. For example, the pull button to adjust the seat on the stroller is grey colour. The buttons to detach and install the handle bar on the seat are also grey. On a black and grey stroller grey is a poor choice for the buttons. A brighter colour like in other competing strollers is a far more convenient and logical way to do it. When the handle is retracted completely, you cannot lower the seat because the handle gets in the way. You have to raise the handle first before moving down the seat. This can be frustrating when you have to do this many times throughout the day. The straps on the seat are very complicated to adjust for size to place a newborn in. The instructions to do this are sparse in the user manual. In fact, I believe the user manual needs a thorough revision and proofreading. Whoever worked on it did not do a good job. Size and manoeuvrability: As I mentioned above, the stroller just feels big and clunky. I do not know the exact measurements to compare to the Vista. However, the Vista definitely feels smaller and easier to manoeuvre. One immediate problem I observed is how far back the rear wheels protrude behind the stroller. I have long legs and I make big steps and my legs constantly hit the wheels if I am not careful. I solved this problem by raising the handle completely. One big drawback with this stroller for us was that It does not fit flat in the trunk of our Mini countryman. Both the Uppababy Vista and Graco modes fit perfectly in our trunk. I think the issue is that the rear wheels do not fold on this stroller on top of this stroller being clunky. I have to take off the seat to be able to fit it in the trunk. I have no doubt that we will have to purchase another lightweight travel stroller for air travel because I cannot imagine this being a convenient option for that. Another thing I noted was that when folding, the articulation points in the frame might hit your hands or knees. They should have been covered with plastic. In my experience, it can cause a lot of pain especially since the fold requires you to bend towards the ground and the stroller has a tendency to be pulled towards you from the rear wheels due to the springs. I do not know what the solution to this is other than being very careful while folding the stroller or wearing gloves and knee pads. Value: I think the clear value in this stroller system is realised by parents with more than one child. For someone who is having their first child, this stroller is just far too heavy and clunky to own for frequent use. If you want a future proof stroller which can expand as your family grows, this is the most affordable option without compromising on quality. However, for our needs we could probably find Joovy's lightweight strollers more useful. Outside of Joovy, we may splurge and go for the Vista or save money and go for the Graco Modes stroller. Major pros for me: -Affordable -Quality of materials is good -Seat is reversible Major cons for me: -Does not stand on itself when folded -Heavy even without the seat -Not practical for parents with one child -Does not fit in Mini Countryman trunk without the wheels removed -Grey buttons -Terrible user manual -Clunky design -Poorly designed Bassinet and hanging tray
