It’s ok
I’ve never used a pudding before, and thought it would be like a leave in conditioner. I’m Not sure if all puddings are like this, but this pudding is definitely like a gel. It recommended you use the curl awakening spray, which I did, but then the pudding produce starts to clump and create little balls when if I brush my hair at all after. Which I don’t like. If I use the pudding on its own no major problems, but it does dry quickly. So it’s a quick styling product. I use it for my curly hair which’s takes time you have to section and I finger twist each curl, so you can’t add a bunch as once. You’d have to use a little at a time. Not my preference, but may be good for others. I don’t plan on getting this again.

Finally! Something that tames my wild curls and frizz
I have very high porosity hair with various natural curl types from wavy to spiral and everything in between and trying to find a product that defines my curls, leaves my hair soft and not sticky or crunchy, hydrated and frizz free has been an exhausting and expensive journey. This series is the bomb! I use the shampoo and conditioner, followed by the de-tangling milk then I use either the butter creme or the pudding. The butter creme works well with my curls leaving them soft and defined with no crunch and the pudding allows me to define and encourage some of the looser curly pieces. In the morning I just spray on some of the curl awakening spray, scrunch my hair and I'm good to go. This is the first time in my life I haven't had to use hairspray to keep my hair and frizz controlled. I almost feel naked without all the hairspray. The pudding and curl awakening spray do leave a slight cast (crunch) but all you have to do is lightly scrunch your hair when it dries and the crunchy cast disappears leaving soft, defined, frizz free curls. And a little goes a long way. I hope they don't stop making this line. I'm stocking up now!

Really good hold
This defines curl really, really well without the tackiness or drying effect of gel. I use in my 4abc hair and it stays curly for days after a wash n go even after a workout (I have a twa). I use the whole line. Moisture boost shampoo and conditioner, the hair oil, the detangler and then this for curl.

Made my hair dry
My friend recommended this product to me because she has used it for years. She has always complained of really dry hair. I started using it and my soft and healthy hair started to get so dry so I stopped using right away. Yes it does work, but it is drying.
