Great Pants
I'm 5'6 heavy set 180lbs, female, and I wear it for our adult co-ed league. They are a little long on me but, I got a large, but they fit really well over shorts. I often go in as goalie at half time and we only have about a 2 min break so I just slip them on and they are perfect. So far they have been very durable on the turf which I feel is harder on cloth than grass.

A great pant.
I wholeheartedly recommend these pants for goalkeeping, especially indoor. I had been wearing shorts w/socks for indoor previously, but after a couple seasons on some less than great turf, my legs were getting pretty torn up. Rugburn doesn't heal quickly, especially if you have another game 2 nights later. It looked like I had been in a motorcycle accident with no protective clothing on. I wore shorts somewhere and was asked if I had taken a cheese grater to my legs. Anyway, the point is that since the facility wasn't going to invest in better turf, I had to get some better gear. I checked the reviews and these pants had good marks. I ordered a pair in XL because I'm not exactly a small guy. Be forewarned, Reusch's XL is BIG. Like Hammer Pants big. I had to send them back and get L because no amount of drawstring was going to keep these pants up. This pair lasted for almost two years before they got retired. I used them mostly indoor, but also for a couple outdoor games. The padding is good and durable. The material has good stretch and doesn't wear easily. Overall, these pants saw some wars and did great duty. With how much time we goalies spend on the ground diving and sliding, these pants are a necessity. One tip that I learned from experience: When cleaning, do not dry these in a dryer! Air dry only. The heat from a dryer shrinks the padding sewn into the lining. It'll last a lot longer if you keep them out of the dryer.

Pretty good protection, good material.
I bought these as an alternative to sliders, because I wanted to protect the rest of my legs as well. I already had knee pads, which I use for practice and games (I only wear these pants for games), which I wear underneath the pants for extra protection. Honestly, I don't think the padding on the pant knees alone offer much protection at all. The hip padding is also only helpful to a certain point, but I wish the pads went higher up. I still get bruises galore after wearing these pants but they do help at least a little. The material is very high quality and the pants definitely prevent getting all scuffed up from the grass (or dirt on those god-awful fields). I ordered an adult small and they fit me perfectly, with maybe a little bit of extra room (I'm 5'7"). I'm very pleased with my purchase, especially when I play on freezing winter mornings/nights and the rest of my team has to run around in shorts and t-shirts, and I'm all, "mwahahaha long sleeves all the way."

Fortunately through a little research I was able to piece ...
I purchased these pants last week (5/23/16) and wore them the following day for an indoor soccer game I had to play. I read a lot of the reviews before I purchased them and the confusing sizing is definitely a drawback. Fortunately through a little research I was able to piece together my size (Adult Medium) taking into account my frame (6'0", 200lbs.). The ONLY issue I had was that the pants seem to come up to my belly button, but I was able to remedy that by folding the waist band down one time. That made the length perfect. I hope that tip and my measurements help any of you looking to buy these pants. Only other drawback was they are EXTREMELY warm to wear. But that could have been the high temperature in the indoor building. :)

Amazing customer service
This company is excellent to work with. I ordered and adult small for my 13yo daughter and they were way to big, but I needed a new pair ASAP for a championship tournament. I called and the company sent me out a new pair right away and received them in time to win the championship! We ended up getting her a youth medium. The adult size was too baggy. The medium is snug around the waist but fits well every where else. She is a solid build, but is on the shorter side. Great quality!

The XL are a little more comfortable if you put on a few extra lbs
I am an active 50+ female. I ordered these in both the adult X and XL (190 lbs; Hips 47, Waist: 37) to wear while roller skating (not derby skating). The XL are a little more comfortable if you put on a few extra lbs, otherwise the Adult Large is more form fitting. They include hip, thighs and knee padding. I have not had to readjust pants while exercising as you would if you wore separate knee pads that tend to slide. They don't ride up, slide down, and the legs have a stirrup band if you need/want to use them. I am hoping these will help minimize bruising if I take a spill while skating :-0

The best goalie protection
Ive used these pants for over 1.5 years and they take a serious beating. They run a little big but breath well and dont cause you to slide too far as some other types of (for lack of name) "swishy" pants can which can cause you to lose control of your slide tackle and mess up the play. I seem to go down on my right knee a bunch while playing indoor goalie and after about a year i finally wore a hole in the knee. What i ended up doing was sewing up the hole and putting a large industrial iron on patch over the hole; good as new. Once I tear these apart somewhere else i will definitly be purchasing again without a doubt!
