Great diapers if your fur baby sadly needs them! (Incl. recommendation on how to put them on!)
My English Springer Spaniel girlie is about 33 pounds and on the longer side. I ordered a medium for her. I suggest ordering 2 at minimum so you can rotate into a fresh one while the soiled one gets hand washed/air dried. My baby is going to be 4 in April. It’s such a bummer she got spay incontinence (and unfortunately, the Proin Rx is only doing so much), but these Vet’s Best doggie diapers help a fur mama out and make things more manageable! She has an accident about once a week and with these always on her when she’s inside, I now have peace of mind that I won’t suddenly have to drop everything to mop up her random urine accidents. They are indeed super adjustable! I also make sure to line the inside with long bladder pads from the dollar store, as needed. The extra absorption does sometimes come in handy! My trick for putting them on is making sure she’s standing as straight as possible, then I straddle her around her waist, backwards—facing her tail. I wrap the long pieces around her starting with the left side, blue lining part facing down. Then fold the right strap over, making sure to neatly line up the Velcro connection. Then I bring up the flap still dangling between her back legs to her ever-wagging tail, threading her tail thru the slot (you’ll need to cut/seam rip this open prior to first using). Then I bring it up and around her bottom and over onto her back to line up the remaining Velcro as the third layer in the Velcro stack. And that’s it! Also worth noting: she got used to them very quickly and she always seems comfortable in them. Bottom line: Highly Recommend!

Great Fit - great product!
EDIT Nov 6th, 2020 - Have ordered several more times. Have received a couple that again, stitching was not as strong and the velcro detaches from the band. Also, had to return two recent purchases at it seems they had a diff. velcro brand/manufacturer - they barely stuck to themselves. you could pull it apart with barely any force, which means it's NOT going to stay on the dog. I hope they rectify this and reinforce the stitching as these are the ones that fit her best. I have bought close to 30 pairs of these over the years. EDIT April 19th, 2020 - I have over the years moved to the S/M for my dog - (45-47lbs) - I've found they fit better around her waist with no adjustments - and gives me more adjustment of the sides to prevent leaks out when she lays sidewayse. The best option for us has been the Target or WalMart Brand pads - Moderate, regular length. If your dog has consistent leakage, do yourself a favor and use w/ the pads. It will decrease the frequency you have to wash and help prolong the life of these. Once you find the right fit, you also know when you get a new pair exactly which "holes" to adjust to before you even put them on her. We're a regular user, purchased these 14x so far over the years - usually 2-3 each time. TIP: Buy a mesh bra/etc bag for the washing machine - HOOK ALL THE STRAPS together, wash on the gentle cycle. Do not put these in the dryer, it wears them out so much quicker. I usually hang them in the basement to dry or I put them in front of the heat vent in the kitchen and they dry pretty quickly. REASON I AM DROPPING 1 STAR: I have several for her now that I have had some issues with and why I dropped it a star. A few months back we had some that the velcro just did not want to "stick" to itself well - I don't know if they changed vendors or what, but the rough to soft velcro grasped so poorly they usually ended up hanging off of her. Also, 2 recent ones I received had very poor stitching that has already come apart and the velcro is ripping off. I reached out to the company a while back and never heard back. I sent another message today on their site. **END EDIT. Original Review: Thank you Vet's Best!!! I have a 2 year old Pittie mix who became incontinent from her spay surgery. I tried multiple diapers including disposables... this is the only one that stays on her -- there are 6 different adjustable elastic bands to get the perfect fit. These do have a pad in them to absorb -- however -- I got tired of washing them every day, so I bought Poise liners to put in them and they fit perfectly (the regular length) so I can wash every few days. My pittie is smallish for the breed and 42 lbs -- I have most of the straps at the 1/2 way or some 3/4 adjustment to fit her - so this should be able to fit a larger dog as well. My only quibble is some these the stitching is coming loose at the velcro -- they should be reinforced a bit more considering you're pulling the velcro to get them off.

Great for females in heat
These fit perfectly (size s/m) on our mini golden doodle. We use them when she’s in heat and add a panty liner. The only issue we have that is not with the diaper itself but with our dog, is she chews the diaper to pieces so I have to buy multiple diapers because they last a few days and then she starts to tear at it because she wants to clean herself and she’s a chewer. We like that they are adjustable and they are a nice snug fit without being tight. If we’re not paying attention or leave the house she will rip out the panty liner so at least we have the added diaper protection if she isn’t wearing a liner. It’s also a plus that we can wash them and reuse them. We have been using these for years and highly recommend them for females in heat. ***I just want to add that there isn’t any absorbency in these diapers it’s just a thin 2 layer fabric so it would not hold well for a dog that has bathroom issues unless you add a thick pad. I would only recommend these for dogs in heat because they are so thin.

Perfect with no flaws!
Whoever invented this is a genius! At first I thought, crap this is too big for my 12lb shiba inu (she's a petite girl and I got the XXS/XS), but when I realised that I could pull on the elastic and there were more button holes I was like, "Okay, this can work!". After making the adjustments to it, it fit perfectly. It also goes on and off with velcro in a way that the size adjustments stay the same and you don't have to redo them every time you put it back on. When I used disposable diapers they made her walk funny and she hated them and she was able to outsmart them and take them off. With this one the fit is great and she doesn't mind it at all and it's not coming off without me taking it off. She walks fine and has no issue with it being on. I will defiantly be ordering 1 more for her for when she goes in heat as I'm letting her have 2 more heats before I spay her as she is slow to mature (she is a "special" case) and I will be ordering 2 big ones for my show dog before her next heat. (I won't be spaying her until she retires unless her OFAs and conformation results don't come back good ((genetic health testing all clear)) or unless it becomes medically necessary to do so before then)

Fabulous. So much better than the no mess no stress ones
These are so good! The first time I put them on took quite some time as there are multiple adjustment points and my girl is pretty skinny. She was very tolerant whilst I pulled the elastic and secured the buttons in the right place. The fit is brilliant though because they are adjustable. We had the pets at home Mikki no mess ones in the past but she could basically push them out of the way and still lick herself which meant she was falling out of the pants all the time, defeating the purpose. These ones have a much wider section though, more like a nappy and so they have stayed in place really well. She also doesn't seem to mind them too much either which is a huge plus! The photos show how she is still as chilled out as always with them on. They do attach with velcro which I like but I know it could scare some dogs because of the noise when taking them off. The design is clever because you put one side on which has velcro on top. Then the second side velcros on to that but it also has a second velcro layer on the top of it and then finally the top section with the tail piece velcros on top of that one. So all pieces secure on top of each other and are really firm and secure. The tail hole is not cut out which is good as you can cut it smaller for a tiny, skinny tail, larger for a bigger tail or not at all for docked or tail-less breeds. Comparing to the mikki ones we used before, these ones are vastly superior. Those threaded a strap through a hole and a metal clasp and I use to find it so awkward, especially when she wouldn't keep still. And the tail hole on the previous ones was a bit too big. So if you are deciding between the two brands, no contests, choose theses ones. As I only bought one pair, I have been lining with black human panty liners which I got a box for £1 some time ago, and they work great. I used to do similar with the mikki ones too as they were not absorbant like these are. I'm not keen on anything white that shows the blood and in fairness these pants are like a dark blue inside and do appear to be quite absorbant, but I didn't want to have to keep washing when I only bought one pair so the panty liners work perfectly if you prefer. I couldn't believe the vast difference in price between different brands and these seemed really reasonable compared to some but also had good reviews. I'm so glad we tried them. The only thing with any pants is don't forget to take them off when they go outside! She almost did a wee in them as I forgot she still had them on and we did have an accidental poo at one point too! But that's my silly fault, not the pants!

I bought the L/XL for my border collie. No absorbency at all.
Completely useless for my 14 year old border collie. She was extremely good and let me put it on and adjust it accordingly for night time and left it on from 11 pm to 5am. When I checked it she was wet through and so was her bed. There is no absorbency whatsoever. She doesn't wee half as much as my male border collie so it doesn't work. Good fit but not absorbent at all. Will keep it and put toddler disposable nappies inside it. Maybe it's ok for tiny dogs. The only 2 things that were good were the adjustment options and it washes well.

Very effective, great fit and fast-drying washable diaper.
Very adjustable, good seal to stop leaks, and our dog didn't seem to be as restricted for movement as when she used disposable diapers. Dries quickly after washing, but you'll need to buy two or three to keep your dog protected in a dry diaper. One on, one drying two dry/drying. I would have bought more than the one, but our dog's incontinence stopped after she had chiropractic treatment and went on to hormone tablets.

Vets best just know what they're doing
Always try yo buy vets best from their calming tablets to nappies to joint supplements. A company that really knows what it's doing without charging you an arm and a leg. My pooch is so comfortable in their nappy she's even napping with it on no mess and just a quick either hand-wash or throw it in the washer life long item for £15. Perfect
