Excellent ball, loved (and often stolen) by dogs, even though it doesn't have the best "glow" in the world.

If you're buying this ball for its glow-effect, skip it and buy the Chuck It version instead, as that one glows really well (and this one doesn't glow that much). We have several of the Chuck It glow balls, and they're great. However, as a fun colored and fantastic ball that floats really well and dogs love... this one is fantastic. We take this one to the beach and throw it in the surf, and our black lab always finds it. In fact, this is the one ball that constantly gets stolen by other dogs! So, we have to chase them or track them for a while before we finally get the ball back. What I just described has happened literally dozens of times. And all of those dogs already had their own balls that they were playing fetch with! That's how popular this ball is with dogs (at least at our local dog beach). We already have 2 of these, and I'm back buying another two (as they're often misplaced when we want to go to the beach). (No, I didn't get this for free, or for a discount, or any other "make me a better reviewer" deal. Frankly, our dog just loves this ball.) By the way, this review is based on over three years of use by a 110 lb Lab (of the large-size ball). Every time she sees it she starts jumping around like a puppy (she's 8), because she knows she is going to the beach. I've tried several other balls at the beach and in the water, and this one beats them all. She hasn't been able to destroy it either -- lots of "fetch" and chewing, but not a single puncture! Only the Kong and Chuck It products can stand up as well as this. Everything else gets turned into plastic shrapnel over time. It might have to do with the fact that this ball (in large) is a bit larger than the Chuck It XL, and certainly bigger than a tennis ball, so perhaps she can't get the same leverage, even though this ball compresses down a bit more (as it's a softer plastic than those other balls). Subtracted one star because you can't choose your color. (The red is just ok. I'd pick the green every time if possible, since she seems to be able to find and fetch the green better than the red in the surf -- I would have thought the opposite!)

My dogs love it!

This ball is amazing!I have two adult labs that love balls and this has been excellent! It is durable and I love that it’s so easy to wash off. So much better than tennis balls that get dirty and torn up so easily.

No Glow

I reached out to the vendor and told them mine don’t glow. They said to leave them in direct light. I have for 2 days now and still no glow ????

Great for destructive dogs

I purchased 2 of these for my extremely destructive 3 dogs. 2 lab pups and 1 padderdale pup. They absolutely love them! Since the 2 labs didn't want to share and now carry them around with them everywhere they go..including the vet, I ordered 2 more just to make sure everyone could have one with a spare. I love the bright colors. It makes them very easy to find outside. We live on a farm so the dogs will sometimes drop them in the fields. And my dogs LOVE to chew! So far, after a full month of constant use they are all still in one piece! Best purchase I've made for my three boys so far. And the only thing that has survived my boys...I highly recommend these!!

Tough Chewer

My dog is notoriously hard on toys, he generally destroys them in about 10 minutes. This ball did last him 1 day. He loved it!

My dog loves it--and it is durable!

This is my dog's favorite toy. I can throw it all afternoon, and he'll chase it, run around with it...but he hasn't been able to chew it up!

Value and that it really worked.

Loved the glow in the dark ball. All is dog walkers loose our tennis balls in park. I refuse to take them anymore. Until I got this ball. Every one asks,’ Where did you get that ball from? No batteries or having to recharge! Fantastic.

Dosent glow but great ball

I brought this ball so that I could continue to play fetch with my dog in the dark on his morning walk. Unfortunately the ball does not glow at all. The reason it gets three stars is because it is a brilliant ball. Even though I can't see it the dog seems to be able to find it. It also seems pretty indestructable.

THE BALL DOES NOT GLOW

The quality of the ball is very good - durable, easy to clean which was nice. HOWEVER it is missing the most important feature - it doesn't really glow! It gets dark quite early in the winter and for the evening walks we bought this one after losing a non-glowing ball. We lost it after a week in the dark. Notice that we had been exposing the ball to light but it didn't make a difference. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who came here looking for a glowing ball.

Not the greatest quality but provides a bit of play.

I gave this 2 stars because my dogs were bored of it quickly. Certainly durable and didn’t glow much but the balls itself where rock solid. Not the greatest quality in my opinion. And very small than what was expected.

Check sizing carefully

They are very nice balls however the sizing was confusing and I wanted one that fit into a ball checker and these were huge
