Does the job well
I just made savory crepes using Pasta Flour (3 flour blend) bc this is my pasta substitute; and it worked very well. Nothing was sticking. I poured a little extra-light olive oil on a paper towel and swiped the pan before each crepe. I could have used butter, but since this was for pasta, I used oil. This pan comes with basic instructions, do not use spray oils, and do not use too-high heat, do not cut inside the pan, all common sense warnings. I layered wax paper between each cooked crepe, put them in a ziplock bag, and froze them. The pan made a decent-sized 8" crepe, good for stuffing with cheeses or meats for cannelloni. I used 1/4 cup batter for each crepe. I like the very low-sloped sides allowing easy maneuverability to get under the crepe to flip it. I used a medium-high gas flame at first bc I found that browned the crepe adequately. The first side of crepe you cook about a minute, then the other side 20 seconds or so.. Once you do about 4 crepes, the pan is hot enough to turn down the flame to medium-low. Tomorrow I am going to try my egg-free chocolate crepe recipe. I put a sticky-note on the pan when I put it away saying "Use for crepes only!" I don't want anyone abusing this pan using it for anything other than crepes!

Use the right adhesive on stickers on the pan surface.
A pet peeve of mine as a semi-pro chef, is when dumb product maker's put the wrong adhesive on stainless & non-stick pans. They use regular address labels that have a permanent adhesive, and the label Calphlon so kindly did in the center of the. It sticks and peels off effortless as I would expect from such a quality maker. This arrived with 2 sticker on the pan surface that had been removed, but the adhesive was still present. I don't know if it was a stocking sticker, but no way am I going to use a plastic scraper or a Goo removal product on a professional pan. I'm going to return it before I even get to use it, and go to a cherished restaurant supply house where I'll know I can get a pan without annoying sticker residue on the pan surface. Pay attention to detail and know your stickers when the side or base of a stainless pan and won't come off! -David AllenAnolon Advanced Bronze Nonstick 9-1/2-Inch Crepe Pan Update 1/31/16 Upon further review, Analon itself was the offender. While repacking for the return, I found the wrong adhesive on the back of the cardboard insert covering the pan. See photos. The placement and marks matched exactly. I still concur that wrong adhesive damages many products and no one seems to care. I do. -David Allen

it do what it suppose to do !
I had "Anolon" crêpe pan for more than 15 years and it was working perfectly for my needs .so when it finally stopped doing the job it was supposed to do ,I decided to exchange it on... almost the same, but new pan. Yes, handle could be less heavy .but it's still working, and I am still happy with it

Analon makes good products, I own four other pans
Analon makes good products, I own four other pans, and this crepe pan is no exception. I had a less expensive crepe pan but threw it out after two months as it did not distribute heat evenly and the handle became much to hot. This pan does not have either of those issues. It provides good heat distribution and browns the batter perfectly. My only gripe, and its a minor one, is that I wish they would have coated the rivets, but then I imagine they would have had to increase the cost. I would have paid for that feature as the rivets can be a pain to clean sometimes.

Very sticky for a non-stick pan! I sent it back.
I bought this pan to make crepes on my glass-top stove - I know how to make crepes! I have a 10 inch T-Fal crepe pan and wanted a smaller pan that cost less than the French-made T-fal- so I bought this. Even with buttering between EACH CREPE, the crepes stuck to the pan and had to be slowly pried up all the way around, then very carefully lifted. Even with great care, a good recipe and all the right tools (crepe spatula) they stuck. I am used to crepes I can flop out of the pan when they are done. Crepes are already work-intensive. I sent this Analon pan back and bought the smaller T-Fal crepe pan. If you aren't making crepes, maybe you'll like the small size. But it is NOT NON-STICK!! Heavy feel, nice handle, heats evenly.

Not induction friendly
My fault - in UK Avalon’s Advanced Hard range is induction friendly but this colour is discontinued. So paid extra to import from US. Looks stunning - wonderful size. But does not work on induction hob so completely useless to me. In fairness, the description does not say it is induction friendly. Equally, it does not warn that it is not. I just assumed the same brand/model would be the same in US. So disappointed.

Exactly what I was looking for.
It is a crepe pan, we use it for scrambled eggs, omelets, frying eggs and anything else you put in a small , flat pan. Love it!
