Sturdy turner

This is a nice turner/spatula, typical of OXO products. I'm a bit surprised at its weightiness given its size, but that should serve it well for durability since it's in the "outdoor" product line. The handle is a tad on the short side but the turner itself has a good length. The whole thing is quite sturdy and doesn't bend easily, including the turner side. It has enough structure and strength that you could put a bit of force on it to scrape up something stuck on your cooking surface without really bending it. The edges are also relatively sharp (not enough to cut you), which comes in handy while cooking. It's a little pricey if you just need a basic turner/spatula but the build quality is great and feels like it'll last a long time.

Seems like it will do the job

This is a good size griddle turner. Not too big or too small and comfortable in my hand. It a little on the light side but still good enough and the shape is good even though the metal is a little thin around the neck. This is for a grill and not a pan especially if the pan has a coating as this will most likely scrape that off. Will see how durable this is. Will update if anything happens.

Slightly larger version of the turner I have, I'd ordered a big one before, but it was for BBQ only.

I have one of these a half size smaller than this and it's one of my most used cooking tools. The problem is it's got too small a surface area. Bigger ones made for BBQ's are too large for most frying pans and might scratch the non-stick coating. I use a silicon Chan for my wok, but its front in rounded to fit the wok pan. I use a plastic large turner for pancakes and hash browns. It's not as easy to control however if you want to do finer details. I used this today to turn all the pizza rolls in my air fryer over. It's better to turn them one time and It's cumbersome doing it with a larger less controlled spatula. This works much better. With my small one, things slip off too easy and even though it's easy to articulate, it's too small to flip larger food items. This can flip burgers and does great when I want to turn toppings like mushrooms, and onions. It does not crowd the pan and it's easy to control. Larger spatulas or turners don't do well with buns or things crowded in the fry pan. A good useful tool to expand my kitchen cooking tools. Recommended.

This is a gorgeous cooking tool!

The only thing I can think of to dislike might be the inflexibility of the "head" as they call the food-handling end of this tool. I usually like it to have a little give when sliding under food, but not so here. This Silicone Camp Griddle Turner was made to bear weight on what I keep wanting to call the "blade". But I guess that might give the wrong impression. This turner is made of steel, stainless steel and silicone (the handle, I suppose.) It is a beautiful thing, but...oops! I didn't see that! Not recommended for nonstick cookware. Rats! But it is recommended for cast iron cookware. I guess I can drag some old griddle out of the cupboard, because for certain this tool is not going on any camping trips! But I still think it is a lovely tool!

Great OXO quality

OXO comes through again with a high quality kitchen product. I love the straight shape of this Camp Griddle Turner (I would call it a spatula). It has a beveled sharper end that makes it slimmer at the point of lifting food, while still being quite a stiff sturdy spatula. The silicone is a little matte/rough-ish to make sure it's not slippery to grip. The heft of this is nice to hold. It can be hung if you have a place for that outdoors. Very nice spatula that I expect to use forever. Recommended.

Great idea from OXO.

Full disclosure, I really like OXO stuff. It is just well made stuff for a fair price. This is a camping / outdoor cutting board. The cutting board itself is just a small cutting board. What makes this great for outings is that the cutting board is housed inside of a serving tray. Great idea right? So, while this may see some camping, it will likely end up at the pool and beach as well. It is a perfect companion for any outdoor plan where you will serve food. Highly recommend!

Great quality turner

This griddle turner is nice and thin so it makes flipping things much easier. The silicone handle is buttery soft and very comfortable to use. The metal handle is hollow on the back but it's still very sturdy. Great quality camp griddle turner.
