Alternate use (chainsaw oil)

Summary: I needed a strong, durable and well sealing squeeze bottle to use for oil with my chainsaw. After trying a couple of cheap offerings, decided to give this OXO set an shot, and they work amazing! No leaks, and good flow. Bought the original set in 2019. This outdoor set was offered for a Vine review, so added that one too. That one is even better than the first, in that the lids are screw type (where as the earlier was pop-top), absolutely no way the screw top will open accidentally in my back pack! Conclusion: At $12 for the two pack, rating this 5-stars! Perfect for syrup! No more sticky bottles!

We bought this bottle to try with maple syrup. It’s perfect and we’ll never go back to traditional syrup bottles again! It has a cap that’s attached to the spout so there’s no losing the cap. It looks like when you tip the bottle that the open cap would fall into the syrup that’s being dispensed but it doesn’t!!! It’s placed perfectly so the cap stays clean and free of the syrup. The bottle doesn’t drip down the sides either. We’ve used it several times and the kids have used it too. We also seem to be wasting less syrup as this is so perfect. Syrup lovers rejoice.

No leaking!

I’ve been using the OXO Good Grips Chef’s Squeeze Bottle for 2 months and it is leakproof! The outside of the bottle stays clean. The bottle itself has texture so it doesn’t slip if your hands are wet. The top (black piece) comes apart into two pieces for easy cleaning. The whole item is dishwasher safe. The bottle is easy to use. The tip has a snap on cover. The tip is just the right size for full control over how much liquid (oil in my case) is dispensed.

Fantastic Bottles to Use For Sauces

The quality of the plastic is very nice. It's thicker than many cheap squirt bootles you may find at the store. It holds up to heat because of it. The bottle has a very nice cap that is fairly easy to open and close. The cap has a screw-on lid that tightly locks it into place preventing any possible leaks. The main reason I've given this product a 4/5 is that I do slightly question the quality of the pin that keeps the cap from moving freely when you tip the bottle down. The large bottle's cap worked well, but the medium-sized one is very loose. I hope that this is not common.

Great Product

This is just the right size for transferring salad dressing from the hugh bottle that I got from Sam's Club. I will be able to control the flow of the dressing much easier with this squeeze bottle. I have never been disappointed in an OXO product and this one is another great one.

Good size, nice control of amount

Needed a safe container to freeze milk. I can't drink a half gallon of milk before it goes bad, so freezing some saves money (and less trips to the store.) This bottle doesn't take up much freezer space. After the milk is thawed, the stream is easy to control. I like being able to give it a good squeeze that mixed coffee with sugar (and a bit of hot chocolate powder) for a morning mocha. Good action on flip-top. Unlike other reviewers, the flip-top does not interfere with flow. It closes very easily with a gentle push of my thumb. Happy I found this, as a popular brand of pint-sized containers has become unavailable.

Excellent condiment dispenser

We are using this dispenser for a homemade hot sauce. It's perfect. It's a little smaller than I expected (but that's because I didn't read about the size...which is 6oz or 3/4 cup). The black top is sealed well and the cap to the top is on a hinge which keeps it from flowing down when you are squeezing the bottle). I would buy this again if I ever needed a condiment dispenser!

The best squeeze bottles.

I use these for all kinds of things: oils, vinegars, hot sauces, salad dressings. These are quality food-grade bottles that can actually withstand a reasonable amount of acidity (such as vinegar). Durable and easy to clean. I'm amazed at how much abuse the caps can endure-- I have yet to break one.

Just what I wanted

Oxo Good Grips Squeeze Bottle - Medium (350ml) Easy to take apart to clean. 3 pieces (bottle, spout with hinged lid, and ring to secure the spout to the bottle). 350mls, seems very sturdy so far. No leaks, and the lid snaps shut nicely. I will update this review if anything goes wrong. March 2023.

Handy bottle for cooking

I use this bottle (large) to keep my cooking olive oil always handy and mess-free. The bottle is grippier than most, which is handy for when you are cooking, easy to squeeze and clean. We also have a couple of the smaller sized bottles which are very handy for keeping homemade syrups in the fridge.

Useful bottle that works.

Nice sturdy sauce bottle. I didn't actually buy it for sauces but to fill my steam iron that has a small water aperture. The capacity is fine for that and it works well with no water spillage. Having seen the bottle it seems quite sturdy and I like the attached cap. It seems quite smart so I would be happy to put it out on the table. The nozzle doesn't seem too small so I imagine it would cope with thick or thin sauces - especially if you make your own. It's a bit expensive for a plastic squeezy bottle but I do like the look of it and it is quite versatile, so I consider it money well spent. I am thinking of getting one or two more for actual kitchen use.

Strangely great bottle

Funny to review a simple plastic bottle, or to even think of reviewing a simple plastic bottle, but this is the best bottle you could use for oil. It's sturdy, holds a lot but still slim and feels good in the hand. The flip lid is the amazing part, one-handed use is 100% excellent, it flips off and stays out of the way, then flips back on with a snap. Not a single complaint. So great for putting oil in a pan, or drizzling meats or sheet pan veggies. Great product.
