Great Umbrella Stand

I've ordered three of these over the years and love them. They're also suitable for canes and hiking sticks. However, if you use them on a tiled floor, be careful not to tip them over since they're crockery and, therefore, breakable.

Very Gray background

It isn’t just a bit gray. It isn’t blue and white at all. It is an indigo blue design over a pale gray background. I really like the shade of gray. The gray enough indigo in it to harmonize beautifully with the indigo design. Just don’t expect it to be blue and white. I read the reviews and was expecting a pale gray backgound.

Don't hesitate to buy this

This umbrella stand is beyond beautiful. It is heavy, substantial, and so elegant. I am so pleased with it. If you have a person you need to buy a gift for, getting them this umbrella stand would be something they're sure to cherish. This is one of those heirloom, "passed down in the family" type of pieces. Just buy it!
