I bought and use these paper trays for both applications. Black in color with a good quality plastic.

New life for PC tower alcove

Do you have a laptop and no need for the vertical PC tower alcove that's built into your old fashioned computer/printer hutch? Yes? Then these narrow paper trays could be a nice way to store various printer papers that measure 8.5X11". First, measure the width of your opening to ensure that the trays will fit. Mine was 10", so these trays fit mine at just over 9.5". Then measure the height of the opening, keeping in mind that each tray is about 2.2" high. Then order the correct number for your space. I bought 4 sets of two trays, and as you can see in the pic I could have probably ordered another set of 2 (edit: I have done so). Very important: when you order these, throw a roll of matching Gorilla Tape in your cart. When you get them, line two trays up very well and smooth a piece of the tape along the seam between the two trays in the back and then on each side. Repeat with each pair of trays and then stack the pairs two at a time and align exactly before sealing them together with the tape the same way along the seams of each stacked pair. Continue until you have a strong tower of trays. They will not slip around or shift and the whole thing feels super sturdy. Honestly, even if I were using these on the desk instead of contained inside it, I'd be inclined to tape them neatly to prevent slipping and collapsing. I haven't loaded mine completely with my multicolored paper and label sheets yet, and I plan to label the trays, but I've included a pic so you can see what's possible. Please ignore my nicked up furniture. What an inexpensive way to use otherwise worthless vertical space. Good luck! (Edit: If you have Avery label products, the exterior envelopes or boxes are a bit too wide for these narrow trays, but if you remove the label sheets from the packaging and stack them on the trays, they fit just fine.)

Good for simple uses

I got these to organize papers to store in a cabinet. The size works well and the trays do stack, though they also seem to unstack easily if you knock them by mistake. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend them for papers you need to access frequently, but since these are things I don’t need to access all that much, it works well. Now at least they’re organized and I know where to find them!

Had to replace inboxes at work

Purchased these as a "gift" to an elementary school. Their principal and secretary in-boxes were old wooden trays that were falling about, even after being glued back together. They also didn't match the mailboxes underneath. LOL. These work perfectly. Since they aren't handled a lot and don't have to "support" any thing heavier than 10 pieces of paper, they are great. Makes the in-box area look neat and organized.

You get 2 of these

This back of a spiral is sitting in the drawer organizer along with other items. Goal was to keep it contained in that organized. Hubby has the other one with paper for printer.

Too cheap for me

You get what you pay for here. Im not at all mad at the product, it'll definitely get the job done, fairly priced for Amazon standards, and will last, but it was too low quality for my taste so I returned it. 4 stars because it is not worth the 14 dollars I paid for. I say get it if you just want a simple paper tray and it was 10 dollars.

Very Good but Don’t Stack Well

I use hem in my classroom and they have performed well. The only reason by I gave four stars was that they don’t stack well and once you get them stacked, they slip out of alignment very easily.

Too shallow and stack poorly - do not even support a ream of paper.

Description says 5.6 cm high. Not true. 5 cm high on the outside and maybe 4.7 cm available space between each when stacked. Stacked four and placed ream of paper on top and the last from bottom one bent out the sides of the bottom one and fell down at the front. Useless as letter trays as not enough space to reach in or see what is in there, and useless as a set of stacking shelves for storing paper unless you glue them together and accept will only just take a ream of paper with no room to get your fingers in to take it out again. Very disappointed.

Not fit for purpose

They slot on top of eachother in such an unsturdy way, they constantly collapse on themselves. Frustrating and useless thrown away.

It does not stack up as the pictures. DO NOT RECOMMEND

To start off, I thought that paying so much for such a simple item, I'd get something of good quality. However this was not the case. The trays were flimsy and slightly bent, and when I tried to stack them up, they just wouldn't fit. Rendering them useless to me, as this is a must when it comes to these letter/paper organisers. I immediately repacked it to send back. At least the return was free and refund quick. :) Unfortunately I didn't even think of taking a picture.

Cuesta que se encaje y se desmonta con facilidad

The media could not be loaded. Estoy muy defraudada con el producto. Los materiales con los que está fabricado estas bandejas son de mala calidad, se dobla con facilidad y no son nada resistentes... Luego encajar las dos bandejas cuesta la misma vida y se desmonta con mucha facilidad. No es producto práctico para tener organizado la zona de trabajo/estudio. No lo recomiendo.
