First of all, the cap wasn't tight and some 3 - 4 oz leaked out all over the box. Luckily the box didn't break. Second, we had to use the concentrate twice, once diluted as per directions, then straight, and even then we also used bleach before the dog urine smell was no longer picked up by our dogs.

Great Product

If you have pets and/or children and if you care at all about the environment, then this would be a great product for you. These enzymes can do so much more than just take care of pools and spas. You can mix 4 ounces with a gallon of warm water and use this solution to clean your carpets instead of those nasty chemical carpet cleaners. Think about this, pets and children lay on the carpet and crawl around on it and even put their faces on it. Do you want a carpet cleaner that leaves nasty chemical residues or would you rather use an all natural enzyme cleaner that is perfectly safe for kids and pets? This stuff cleans carpets very well, I've been using this for several years now and have been completely happy with the results. You can also use this product as an air freshener. Just mix with warm water in a spray bottle and spray as you would any air freshener. The difference is that the enzymes actually eliminate the odors instead of just covering them up and your house will not be over powered with a heavy perfume smell. Again, if you have dogs, give them a break and don't use those strong perfume smelling air fresheners like Febreeze, etc. Dogs can smell 3 million times better than humans so imagine how horrible it is for them to be stuck in a house that smells like Febreeze or Glade plug-ins, etc. This enzyme cleaner has many uses, just mix with warm, not hot water and use it to safely clean many surfaces around your home. You won't be disappointed.

Just what I was looking for!

As my aunt's caretaker, I have been constantly seeking a product that removes the odors of soiled bedding, clothes, etc. Well, not any longer! At first I thought this product was used solely for pools, but then I discovered that its enzymes may be used as laundry detergent, in a far lesser volume. It did not take much of this concentrate, when added with any usual brand of laundry detergent, to completely rid the smell of urine. Like brand new clothes and sheets! I am surprised this concentrate is not used more often in senior health care facilities! Would recommend, will order again!

Good natural cleaner

I think this worked well on the little bit of scum line I had on my pool tile. I also used it on my patio cushions and they looked brighter. I'm glad I don't have to worry about it getting washed into the pool. I have about 1/3 of a bottle left and I am going to buy this again.

Not Just for the Pool

As a really lazy person, I'm always on the lookout for products that do more work than I do, or that can prove their worth (and thus claim precious cabinet real estate) by multi-tasking. I already knew this worked well in my pool, and was thinking of ordering more, and then read the review for this product from the person using it in soiled laundry. Well, thanks to that review I purchased this small size to keep in the laundry room. When it comes time to wash the mopheads that clean up puppy accidents, I now add a capful or two along with the regular detergent. Mops come out smelling sweet and fresh. In the pool it has kept the residue that usually accumulates from sunscreens from sticking to the waterline. Thanks again to the person that took the time to share her experiences in her review. It sure helped me.
