It seems the most comfortable one he has used

My husband got into Pickelball 3 yrs ago. He tried a few paddles and then tried this one. It is the only one he uses. He just bought the exact same one now 3 yrs later. He had some of the players try his old one and they are looking at buying it. Great price right now.

Good paddle for my level of play.

I like the handle. I don't like a short handle. This one is long enough, though I'd like it to be 1/2 inch longer, but all in all it allows me to get a good purchase on the paddle. Paddle provides a good response/feel. I use it as my main paddle. I've been playing for 5 months. I used an over wrap and it provided more girth to the handle. The original wrap is good, nothing wrong with it.

Nice paddle, but overweight.

When you buy a pickleball paddle, especially a pro-level paddle, it's important that it weighs the appropriate weight. The Evoke Pro is supposed to weigh 7.8-8.2 ounces. The day I tried it out, I thought it felt a little heavy. I put it on a scale and it weighed in at 8.5 ounces. That is heavier than I wanted and quite a bit over the listed specs. I contacted Onix and received an initial response, but nothing thereafter. I will be returning this one. Buyer beware on the Onix paddles - make sure to weigh it yourself and that it will fit your needs. FYI, my paddles from other manufacturers were dead on with their listed weights. UPDATE 7/17/20: Onix finally got back to me, and sent me a replacement paddle, no questions asked. I weighed the new paddle, and it came in at 8.2 oz, which is at the top of the range. Changed my rating to 4 stars, due to the excellent customer service from Onix. They make great paddles, but I would still be aware that the actual weight may not match the specs, and may not be what you need.

This paddle is definitely for a seasoned player.

This paddle says pro on it and it really is for a banger. Paddle is not very forgiving and although it's a wide body, it's sweet spot is almost negligible. That being said, once you get use to it it becomes a very good paddle to use, but not for a beginner or intermediate player.

Choice of my pickleball pro. Like the tennis grip. Like the surface response better than a board. Like the surface to do some spins. Even like red because everyone has blue. Worth the medium level price. Matches my better but not great level of play.
