Helpful Tool

This is so nice to have. I love the compact size and the 1/8th inch grid. Plus, it has good fabric grip. The outline around the parameter of the ruler is green, but it is transparent so it doesn't block the fabric edge. I have a set of square rulers but now I use this and 2 other rectangular rulers (6x24 and 6x12) and I couldn't be happier!

Perfect ????

After reading the reviews I was concerned about the packaging. But let me tell you.... they must have gotten the messages because my product was perfectly packaged and the yellow lines are not an issue.

Useful but not Non-Slip

I have other sizes of the Omnigrid rulers; this was my first purchase of the Omnigrip line. I ordered it because it is advertised as Non-Slip, a great feature when using a ruler with very sharp Rotary cutters. But it's not Non-Slip at all. In my opinion, there is no difference between the Omnigrip (Non-slip) and Omnigrid (Regular) rulers. The brand is excellent; I own several sizes and will continue to purchase for the quality and reliability, but not for the Non-Slip feature claimed.

A great addition to my set of rotary cutting rulers.

I use this product when I am rotary cutting patchwork fabrics. I have larger/ longer rulers but this one is perfect for when I’m cutting smaller pieces of fabric or sub cutting strips into smaller units. This size of ruler is hard to come by in the UK, so I was pleased I could order it from USA. The price of it was very reasonable, free postage and packing and it arrived well before the estimated delivery date.

J'utilise ce produit pour couper mes tissus son format est très pratique. L'épaisseur de la règle est parfait pour couper avec un couteau rotatif.

Yellow lines & esp numbers are v.diff to see through

Sadly, the yellow lines quite badly obscure the view of the fabric & I'm using crisp whites against dark purples! The numbers are on an even more solid background and totally obscure the view. Compaired to my Olfa rulers I feel blind (I have perfect vision)! The yellow offers a slight non-slip but Olfa have this all over theirs via a slightly white layer which is much easier to see through. I’ll not be buying other Omnigrip rulers. This was one of the only rulers I found of this size which is what I wanted for my current project.
