Small, Convenient, Well Made.

This is my second one of these. I lost my first one, which I had bought at Samsonite's website. :-( The handle feels good in your hand, and it's not made from cheap slippery plastic. It is sturdy, and it takes alot of wind to flip it/reverse it (I intentionally tested it during a period of high wind when I reviewed my first one). It's convenient to be able to push a button when getting INTO the car, and have it retract. Of course it's convenient to open it with the push of a button also. PEOPLE WITH LIMITED ARM/HAND STRENGTH-Be aware that this umbrella TAKES A GOOD AMOUNT OF PUSH to retract it for storage. Also, it has 2 Velcro strips that hold it closed. It is easy (for me anyway) to forget to undo both, and of course when they aren't both undone, the umbrella won't open. That has caught me more than once, when I undid the lower Velcro closure, opened my car door and stuck the umbrella out, pushing the release button at the same time, and it didn't open. I subsequently got pretty wet (as did my open car door) trying to hurriedly undo the top Velcro strip so it would open. So if you buy this, and I would recommend you do, don't make the same mistake. So, as I said, I would definitely recommend this item, and it is my second one, and of course it is made with "Samsonite quality". It's competitively priced and much better quality than the cheap ones, despite it's country of origin. It is Made in communist China.

Broke after one windy day

Was looking for a solid umbrella that could withstand wind gusts and thought this would do the trick because of the design. Umbrella blew out with one gust of wind. The plastic Frame on the inside completely snapped and is unrepairable :(

A sturdy and lightweight umbrella conveniently packed in its own sleeve so you can store it away after using it without getting everything near it wet. Great for travel.

Inaccurate description

This umbrella does not weigh .82 ounces or 13.1 ounces as described. It weighs 15 5/8 ounces. If you are shopping for a sturdy, well made automatic travel umbrella, as I was, note that it is heavier than described.

Didn't last as long as expected

Disappointed. Probably used it about 20 times and already broken and so therefore no longer than a cheaper one.

Broke on second use

On second use in rain and wind the arm broke in the space of less than 3 minutes outside- crossing the road. it was a little windy (not crazy strong) but this is meant to be built for wind, and it fared worse than the cheap coles umbrellas I was trying to replace. very disappointed

Portátil pero caro.

Creo que el punto más fuerte del paraguas es que es muy portátil. Pues falla en 2 cosas promocionas y que no son del todo verdaderas: Las aperturas en la parte superior no son lo suficiente mente amplias para que el aire salga y sea considerado a prueba de viento. El cierre y apertura automáticos funcionan pero, para poder abrir de nuevo el paraguas después de cerrarlo (supongamos que lo cierras al pasar por un lugar estrecho) tienes que jalarlo (hacia el mango) para poderlo abrir de nuevo pues de otra manera notarás cómo son viso les unas cuerdas qué entran al bastón mientras el paraguas se forzá para abrir de nuevo (supongo que así se rompieron los de otras reviews aquí publicadas).
