Commendable acne-fighting properties but is excessively oily

I recently tried out this product out, and I have mixed feelings about its performance. On one hand, I was impressed by its ability to effectively combat my acne issues as it cleared up my skin and reduced breakouts, however, there is one aspect that left me somewhat dissatisfied. After using the face cleaner, I noticed that it left my face feeling excessively oily. I understand that the product is a oil cleaner but even when I thoroughly rinsed my face with water after applying it, the oiliness remained. This left me feeling a bit uncomfortable and wishing for a cleaner that wouldn't leave such a noticeable oily residue on my skin. If you are struggling with acne and are primarily focused on finding a product that can help alleviate your skin concerns, this product might be worth considering/trying, however, if you are someone who prefers a cleaners that doesn't leave your face feeling excessively oily, you may want to explore alternative options.

Great for dry skin

I have very dry skin. Until now, I have washed my face with cream cleanser. But my face still felt so dry and washing. After reading an article about facial oil cleansers, I decided to try one. There are many brands available, but I chose Palmers because I have used their products before and been very pleased. I also respect that they do not test on animals and this is made in the USA. After using Palmers Facial Oil Cleanser once, I could already feel the difference in my skin. My face felt softer and looked more hydrated. It doesn't leave an oily feel which allows my other serums and creams to work effectively. The fragrance is pleasant and not overwhelming. The price is very reasonable especially for the quality. I found my new GO TO cleanser. If you try it, I think you will agree

scent is strong

I use this for the oil step when i double cleanse. Works well, but if you’re sensitive to strong scents, this isn't for you. Rose smell is pretty strong while using. Of course it dissipates after rinsing but..still strong for me and i LIKE strong scents.

Leaves residue

I do double cleanse but it says it won’t leave residue it will before I use my next cleanser it still feels like there is a sheer coat of oil. Other than that it’s pretty great!

Great makeup remover/double cleanser, not big on scent

I have used this for years now and it is great in the cleansing department. Whether you’re removing makeup or double cleansing it gets everything off quite easily. The scent in it however is quite potent and I’m not huge on it. I can look past this since my skin doesn’t react badly to scents but it may be something to look out for if you have sensitive skin.

Great facial oil cleanser!

I have been using this to take off all of my makeup,including heavy eye makeup daily, and it does the job without leaving my face feeling dry. I use this with a soft washcloth, and honestly, it’s been doing a great job for my needs. I also am a contact lens wearer and I have no issues with this stinging or burning my eyes, or getting on my contacts. I love the light rose fragrance of this also! I always have a backup of this and can’t be without it. My absolute favorite facial cleanser!

The media could not be loaded. This Palmer's Cleansing Oil comes in a bottle with a pump dispenser. The bottle that I received was sealed in a plastic bag upon its arrival. Once you have spread the oil all over the area that you want to clean, you need to add a splash of water on top of it (I use my ''Fanerfun Continuous Mister Spray Bottle'' that I bought on Amazon). And as you massage it onto the skin, the product will start breaking down your makeup. After you are satisfied that your makeup has been properly dissolved, all you need to do is to wipe the oil off with a wet facecloth. My skin is left feeling clean and moisturized. When filming for this review, I applied concealer, mascara, blush, lipstick, setting powder, waterproof eyeliner, mascara and setting spray on my hand and I let the makeup sit for 30 minutes to allow it to set completely. After 30 minutes; using Palmer's oil and a splash of water I then wiped off as much makeup as I could with a wet facecloth. I wasn't as gentle on my hand as I am on my face, but I'm sure you get the picture. ~~~~~~~~ What Makeup I Applied While Filming And The Results : ~~~~~~~~ (I just picked random makeup that I own) Too Faced Born This Way Concealer 〰 100% removed NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Setting Powder 〰 100% removed Mia Adora Immovable Waterproof Eyeliner 〰 100% removed ➜ Had to re-apply Oil though E.L.F. 16hr Camo Concealer 〰 100% removed Milani Luminoso Baked Powder Blush 〰 100% removed Maybelline New York Super Stay Matte Ink 〰 75% removed Maybelline The Falsies Mascara 〰 100% removed NYX Matte Finish Long Lasting Setting Spray 〰 100% removed Some of the makeup products pretty much vanished instantly, but others held on for dear life. The Palmer's Oil wasn't able to entirely remove my ''Maybelline New York SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick''. And it did put up a good fight with my ''Mia Adora Immovable Eyeliner'' But it pretty much conquered the rest of my makeup. At the end of the day, this is a very good makeup remover. However, using only this oil is not enough to remove some of my long-wear and waterproof makeup. It does leave your skin feeling very soft and moisturized; therefore, I use it mostly in the morning, or as a second cleaner during my nighttime routine. Holy Grail product for dry skin

I have picky skin. It's very, very fair, used to be hella oily, now it's hella dry. I get pimples and blackheads, but also wrinkles. Everything makes me break out, and everything manages to make me itchy. It's awful. This stuff is the only stuff that has worked for me in almost a year. I use it with or without makeup as a daily cleanser and it has cleared up my skin so nicely! My pimple scars are fading, I have no more dry, flaking patches, my skin looks plump and feels soft, even my makeup sits nicer on my face after using this product. I would absolutely recommend this if you have super dry and sensitive skin!!

Excelente producto

Ya son varias veces que compro este producto para utilizarlo en mi rutina de doble limpieza. Es un producto económico y cumple a cabalidad con su cometido Lo que hago es primero aplicarlo al rostro seco y masajeo suavemente el mismo permitiendo que el maquillaje se remueva, para posteriormente mojar mis manos y nuevamente masajear el rostro, al entrar en contacto con el agua el producto se convierte en una especie de leche desmaquillante que realmente permite remover la base de maquillaje y ya al final me enjuago completamente el rostro para lavarlo con mi shampoo limpiador. la piel queda con una ligera capa de humectación al retirarlo que permite no dejarte la piel tirante al limpiarla. Sin duda lo recomiendo para todas aquellas personas que utilizan la doble limpieza como yo.

It's.....OK

I've been using this for a couple of weeks. I had high hopes for it as I love Palmer's products. The scent isn't particularly offensive but it is not very pleasant. I have oily skin and have found it's ok, doesn't make my skin oilier. If I am wearing make up (foundation and mascara only), I still need to cleanse my skin again with another cleanser to remove the make up as this doesn't do the job. Fine for sensitive skin. I wouldn't buy again as I think it's too expensive for what it does.

You get what you paid for!

I have been using Shu uemera cleasing oil for many years. I start to feel unnecessary to spend $80 on a cleasing oil. I decide to give a shot for other alternative. Pros: It removes makeup fairly well, but not waterproof mascara. And it doesn't dry out skin. Cons: The fragrance is too much, and weird to me. The product came without box, it already leaked even it was unopened. The pump is not well made. The overall feeling is mixed. It works as a simple cleansing oil without anything spectacular. There is nothing impressive about this product to me. However, the price is affordable. In terms of value, it is still acceptable. If you prefer quality, shop around. I am pretty sure there will be better alternative around.
