Was fairly easy to install - took some planning though
I mounted this horizontally above a door at our cabin. Took a bit to measure things out. And, while it looks like wood, some of the laminate took a tiny beating. Also, the screw holes in the top and bottom of each piece gave me trouble because they were DEEP inside the wood ... no normal screw gun or driver would fit inside those holes. Minor pain. Also, it came with 4 small angle brackets which are intended to add vertical support other than the top and bottom screws. Sadly, the tiny predrilled holes were too HIGH up on the rod holders (about an 1/8" from the wall ultimately) so the brackets literally are not flush with the wall (if you use the predrills). I noticed this AFTER i installed both the holders. Had I realized this flaw, I would have simply put the angle supports flush with the back of the holders ... but, alas, i did not. Therefore, they are screwed OUT about an 1/8" so they don't bow the holders...no one will notice at that height anyway. And, now only you and I know. Also - there were extraneous pre-drilled tiny holes for these angle brackets that were wildly off. Strange. Frankly, not sure they are necessary at all. Again, no one will see these holes above the door. It ended up being what I wanted - a museum display of my and my deceased friend's older or back-up rods and reels. The best are still being used regularly on the water!

Larger rods would not fit through the holes
Great idea for a rod holder. Some of my rods would not fit through the holes. If you have large sturdy fishing rods the holes might not be large enough for the rod bass to fit through.

Eh they are ok. Not bad
These are not real wood and are made of cheap compressed Particle almost cardboard like material but they’re not bad

not bad. light pine
not bad. light pine. stained. could make my own but no time. one set holds nine rods. i have spinners and couple bait cast. plus short ice rods and the kids poles. screwed into ceiling of my trailer. screws not tight because of the crap cieling. maybe better anchors or longer scews? tight enough to hold up the rods. shorter than expected. 22.5 in. long. handle holes 1.5 in round. muskey pole fit however! 2.5 in. wide. .75 in thick. tip ends about 1 in wide. brackets from factory set in side for a wall mount setup. overall for $20 a pop not a bad deal to get my rods off the floor. would make my own like these for probably 10 bucks but i dont have the time. i bought 2 sets for 40 bucks. done. keep in mind this is very light china pine wood. if you want to hole saw the holes larger i feel the wood may crack out if you drill much larger. so use caution. grain runs the lenth of the wood. china stain is probabley cancer if air born. however these work just fine for me. second set i stuxk the flyrods in both tip holes as it holds them for now.... the short poles are just hanging out the handle holes...it is what it is....im ordering another set for the short stuff.

WORKS GREAT
I have two sets of these ceiling mounted in my garage and love them. They are strong, look nice, and hold a bunch of rods when you alternate the direction of the rods to make room for the reels.

Hang from the ceiling
Let me start by saying I am very particular on how I store & protect my fishing gear. With that said, I purchased & returned quite a few rod organizers before finding this one. It’s sturdy and it’s stylish. Simple to install but it’s particle board so don’t use a drill. I would also recommend hanging it from the ceiling to optimize organization capabilities. Hanging on the wall doesn’t allow the reels enough room without getting cluttered. This particular model holds 11 rods without any issues. The only downside is...I wanted to order a second about a month after I ordered this one but the price jumped almost $10 and that’s the only reason it gets four stars..still this is definitely a great rod organizer.

Easy to install
Hold plenty of rods. Strong enough to hold deep water rods, a d still capable of light gear too.

I have to give it 5 stars, for doing its job
Works good in my travel camper, holds all 9 rodes, keeps them out of the way, out of the rain, and I don't have to carry them in my camper, just hand them back up when done fishing

Looks good on the wall... looks even better loaded up.
Great rack... throw out all the hardware immediately. It's junk. Drywall screws and cheap plastic anchors are just not a thing. The right angle supports also not necessary and with the plastic anchors it just doesn't have that nice flush to the wall look. Save yourself sometime and just go and buy a small pack of toggle bolts. I used 3/16 toggle. Nice and strong and don't have to use the brackets. Also gives it a nice clean look. Mounted horizontally on the wall, 4 feet apart.

wood looks nice
Holds/ displays fishing rods. This worked great with my 4 rods I couldnt imagine 9 rods though, maybe with tiny or no reels I wouldnt do gymnastics on it but its sturdy once mounted and can hold the weight of your rods and reels

Cheap but works I guess
Cheap MDF and cheap hardwear. Had to cut the holes wider for my ocean rods. Seems to be holding for now but not sure how long
