I Didn’t really need to replace my old ones that were the same. I just wanted a new looking set and also for when I didn’t have to use a harness. Everything about them is top notch and they will Last even the hardest worker many years in the field.

Leather is worth the weight!

Plenty of pockets for all the tools, pry bars, catspaw, hammer, tape measure, nail sets, speed and combination square, chalk line, and that little bag up top for all my hex drives and screw tips and scribes. I bought the left handed version of this bag and the left handed version of the other tool bag that would complete the Pro Framer set. My original Pro Framer set has some holes in it after 20 years and I wanted to buy some new bags. Of course the new leather is stiff and takes patience b/c they need to be broken in. I don’t care about the extra weight compared to the nylon, I love the leather. Yes, they’re heavier, stiffer. However once they break in and soften up I will love them even more. The black color is really cool too!

The Cadillac of tool bags!

Not my first set of occidental leather bags, but hopefully my last! Save the lightweight nylon for the part time guys. If you are in the trades, occidental leather is the bees knees. Nothing has lasted or performed like occidental bags. 30+ years of earning a living with my own 2 hands and I no longer care to cut corners or accept anything but but the best!

almost perfect.

mostly perfect bag to me. the quality of the bag itself is top notch for sure, but after 4 or so months the left side (if you're looking at the picture on amazon) folded in on itself because I wasn't using anything long enough apparently in the bottom of the bag to keep it straight. it should be noted that the triangle "pocket" is not a pocket at all. they just didn't sow the bottom hanging bag to the top one, it's just riveted at the corners, so the triangle slots BETWEEN the bags; fear not though it holds like it is intended to, and very snug like. so beside the folding of the one side, which I presume is a personal problem more than a craftsman or design flaw, i'd say this bag is pretty swell indeed.

Top notch

Absolutely love this pouch. Only been 6 months but I’ve put it through the ringer working outside through fall and winter and this thing has taken everything I can throw at it. Has not failed nor begun to fail. Leather is top notch and smells like it should. Slot for speed square was essential and it fits like a glove and stays there.

Top quality will last years!

One of the best pices of kit I own! It's a shame you can't get more occidental products than those already stocked on Amazon. I was so impressed with the quality of this pouch I bought the suspenders and right had pouch minus the tape holder direct form the USA manufacture as I couldn't get it on Amazon in the configuration I wanted. Well worth the price tag if you want an investment you won't have to replace again. Just look online at the reviews of the amarican trades men.

Great fastener bag.

The best fastener bag I've ever had. Set up just the way I like it for the job that I do. I like keeping nails in the outer pocket and this bag has a larger outer pocket compared to other set ups so I'm able to keep a good amount of nails on me, leaving the large main pocket for various tools, screws, tuck tape, extra caulking tubes, pretty much use it as miscellaneous storage. The quality is top notch too so it should last me a long time.

If you want a bag system that lasts, occidental is the brand to buy. Easy to get 20 years use, more if the leather is cared for. Rivets and stitching are top notch.
