Use in chlorine pool for water aerobics - works great!
I wear this under my swimsuit tank top (I'm a woman) to keep my upper body warm in the winter months while doing water aerobics and water walking in a heated chlorinated pool. So far it is holding up just fine - I have worn it during 24 1-hr sessions and it has not faded, has not stretched, nor is it showing any signs of breaking down. It keeps my upper body and arms comfortably warm. Even though the Thermo-X fabric is quite stretchy, these tops run very small. I am a fairly large woman (usually wear Woman's 2X) and needed to buy a men's 2XL. Because it is a men's, it is a bit snug at the hips, but the rest of it fits well. Fair warning: once wet it is a bit hard to take off, but once you get one arm out of a sleeve, getting the rest of it off is pretty easy.

Great add on layer
I used this on windy early fall days to bridge a gap between summer/spring suit and my 3/2. Helps cut the cold on breezy days when summer water temps dip below 70, breeze picks up and the suns not shining. It has sort of a brushed exterior finish not the lycra of a rashgaurd or light neoprene skin you’d expect in a 1mm jacket. Could also serve as a heavy baselayer for dry on land activities as well and keep you extra toasty. Holds a ton of water so gains a little weight when wet but I think this helps with insulating when in water. Will surprise you how much water comes out when you ring it out.

Expense for a rash guard, but worth it
So I bought one of these in a women's XL (I am a women). It fits, but barely. Unfortunately, they don't seem to offer an XXL Women's anywhere. So I looked at the men's version and bought a Large. Perfect fit (I am 5'8" height, 185 pounds, 41" chest, 39" waist, 46" hips ... 68 year old grandma bod). Love these thermal rash guards for my aqua aerobics night class outdoors (in SoCal in the winter). Yeah, I'm a wimpy SoCal girl since the pool is supposedly heated to 82 degrees. Still, I wouldn't go into the pool without one of these thermal rash guards on.

Comfortable and Warm
Recently went on trip to Mexico with lots of water activities. Wore on all day water excursion and kept me pleasantly comfortable. Can see using at the indoor pool while playing with the kiddos over the winter as well. Wish I had one of these when I taught swimming lessons once upon a time.

Nice when rubber is too much
Super comfy, and cuts the wind chill when I’m kiting or wing foiling in days when a wetsuit is too much. If I get too hot, I just drop into the water. After that the evaporation keeps me cooler. Always keeps the sun off! It’s getting “nappy” from the surface of my boards, which is why it’s not 5 star. Definitely worth the price!

Good fit for large shoulder woman swimmer, X-large mens.
I use the thermo x to swim in outdoor pool during winter in N Calif. with just right amount of insulation from cold air and wind on wet skin. It’s comfy and I can swim with no restriction, however there’s a little drag on the arms where it’s looser fitting.

Surfers looking for something under wetsuit - this is it
Ive been surfing for over 20 yrs and this is hands down the best rashguard to put under my wetsuit for an extra layer of warmth. I swear it turns my 3/2 into a 4/3 just like a 1mm top would. Its basically a rashguard lined with what feels like a poly fleece like material. I wish all of the companies would have these but then we wouldnt buy their higher end fleece lined wetsuits. Oneill has a good product here wish they would stock the shorts which have been out of stock for many months. I picked this top up for $45 after they had a 25% off sale. Totally worth it for all surfer to have in your wetsuit arsenal. Fit is similar to any rashguard for sizing. I wear an MT wetsuit and went with a M with this so that it was nice and tight under my suit.

Perfect for snorkeling in Hawaii
I’m not allergic to the cold, but in water cooler than the Caribbean I prefer at least a little insulation. We took a trip to Hawaii for the first time and enjoyed snorkeling, and I’m glad I got this to do it in. Fits well, not too loose but not a death grip either (get one size up from your normal tee shirt size), sleeves just long enough to fit my long arms and long enough in the torso it doesn’t ride up like a crop top but not so long it comes down past your pockets. The fleece microfiber lining or whatever it is soaks up water and keeps enough of it against your skin to be warmed by your body and not get too cold too quickly. It’s not a wetsuit of course, actually holding that water against you continuously and not letting it out, but it does seem to help. It definitely doesn’t make it too warm, either, striking a nice balance in temperate waters.
