Might be the trick to getting off the bottle! ????????
I’m trying soooooo hard to get my 22 month old off his dang bottle at nap & bedtime. He drinks water all day long from every other type of cup… Open cups, water bottles, straws… But milk? Hard NOPE. We’ve tried transition bottles with sippy nipples, 360’s, straws, you name it. He just pushes them away and gets angry. Tonight I let him have it his cup, and told him it was his new *Special Big Boy Milk Cup*. He actually drank half of his milk before bed with it! That’s a first. I do have some issues with it already though. While the lights are super cool, he hasn’t quite mastered how to turn them on when they shut off. You have to bang it pretty hard on something. That’s not always easy for a toddler when they’re in the middle of drinking something. He saw me banging it on my leg, so now he thinks he just has to hit it (HARD) on mommy’s leg to make it work! ???? The biggest issue I have with it is that the lights turn off after just a few seconds. What’s the point of having a light up cup if it doesn’t stay lit? If it would stay on for even 2 minutes, that would help. The lights turning on and off is more of a distraction than anything, and probably why he only drank half of it. I also don’t think the batteries are replaceable. Once they’re out, they’re out. Other than that, this cup is so cool! It has a pretty slow flow out of the top, but that’s OK. So far it appears to be leak proof and bite-mark proof. Easy to clean and super durable. If they could just make the lights last longer, I’d order a bunch of these. Hope this helps! ????

Cute... But not as durable as I hoped! ????
This cup is cute and definitely an attention grabber for the little ones. It's leak-proof for the most part, as long as you have the interior rubber piece installed correctly and it stays in place while in use. I seem to be having a problem keeping the rubber piece, on the inside of the cup, in place while my niece is drinking. I'm not sure if I'm at fault there, or if it's a fluke in the design. I was hoping for a pretty durable cup coming from Nuby and being designed for toddlers, but they have fell short on this one. My 11 month old niece threw this cup one time on the second day after opening, and a huge chunk of the lid cracked off on impact. It's still useable and it seems to still be leak-proof, but it's the principal of the thing. I was definitely expecting a much more durable cup.

Extremely hard to get anything out of
My little one is 1 and I noticed him not getting a lot out of this cup. So. I tried it. And I thought I’d get a headache if this was my sole source to drink out of. I can’t believe it has 6m and up on it. My little one has been drinking out of straws since he was 9 months old so for this to be hard to suck on I’m surprised. I liked the concept of a fun cup and thought maybe we’d keep up with a fun light up cup. Too bad it isn’t practical!

Looks better on paper than in reality
Pretty cup, BUT. I gave 5 stars on the leak and durability for 1 reason, the stopper in the cup is so tight NOTHING comes out. I'm sitting there wondering why my child doesn't drink from the cup even though she loves it, tried the other cups and she drank it all... so I tested it, and yep I tried to drink and not even 1 drop comes out. I had to take out the plug (which makes a big mess with a toddler that drops her cup everywhere). Lights are short, maybe a couple of seconds and the "tap" to activate the light is not a tap... you either hit it or bump it hard on the table... its a cute cup, but I'd recommend it for older toddlers (though they probably are drinking from regular cups). Cute but definitely not convenient

It was cute the little bit of time that it lasted
We used this cup twice within the month that we had it and the lights no longer work and the paint on the cup is coming off. There’s no way to replace the battery’s either.

Flashing bottle
Daughter loves it. We had another one purchased in a supermarket at a fraction of the price but somehow lost the sealant for the lid so it leaked. I found it here at three times the price hence the four stars.

Fascinating for children with difference.
My child won't use a cup and sticks with his bottle. His love of bright lights made me hope this cup might engage him. It has. He loves the lights, has attempted to put it in his mouth to explore it and is very happy to hold and play with it and make it light up. The downside is that the battery is not replaceable. Its still well worth the money to encourage my little boy to make a developmental leap.
