Will be buying more.

I bought the 3-1/2” and 4” in Nickel. It is true the knobs do not match the Nickel and the plate thickness is not the same thickness of the original 1949s. That didn’t bother me much. However, the screw opening pattern on the 4 inch was opposite of my original. Not sure how or why that happened. I am very happy with them though and I can appreciate this company making them available.

Lighter weight ball and pin than the original

This is a good product at a good price. Don't compare it to a genuine article vintage hinge with pin however. The diameter of the metal surrounding the pin is lighter weight, and the ball on top of the pin is smaller in diameter. Still, few will ever know the difference. It is up to the task and looks good.

Oil-Rubbed Bronze = Black Paint

I bought the Antique Brass model earlier and it was pretty good given the price. So I bought the "Oiled rubbed bronze" version for another door in the basement and to my disappointment they're just painted black, with no resemblance of oil-rubbed bronze. The "patina" in one of the pictures comes from a bit of rust, it's not the paint that's made to look like that. Overall they're OK, just keep in mind that you get what you're paying for (steel hinges) and don't get the oil-rubbed bronze model.

Nice hinges.

Good quality. Not quite as thick as the vintage hinges they replaced, but you cant' tell when they are installed.

Not quite accurate

The screw hole pattern was backwards from the actual historic hinges in my house, and the hinge barrel is about half the diameter. They are decent hinges, but not nice enough to bother re-drilling holes and shimming to make up for the barrel difference. The metal itself is also a lot thinner than the existing hinges I was replacing. I returned them.

Need to return not able to use product

Incorrect because it cannot be used on a metal door frame I need to return these items

They look exactly like in the pictures if you look at them from really far away...

I ordered the same product twice. Both came differently package inside the box. Both had scratches. My guess is that these are returned products that were sold to me. They look nothing like in the picture. Big gap between the hinges and shiny finish. Overall, they look a little less cheap than your average hinge.
