Super cute pan!

We have used this pan for the last five years to make gingerbread houses for our friends and family for parties. It has become some thing that everyone looks forward to. We now have enough attendees to the parties that we needed a second pan. This second pan was also just as perfect as the first Pro tip use Pam with flour for your cakes to slide out

~ CHARMING TINY COTTAGES ~

After getting the Gingerbread House, I decided to invest on the Cottages. "Nordic Ware Gingerbread House Duet Pan" are small, tiny little Cottages, each one holds under 2 -3/4 cups of Batter, that is if you fill it to the Top, you should only fill them no more than 3/4 full to avoid overflow. To get a better idea of their Size, they Measure 3-1/2 inches Deep, both of them and 4-1/2 inches by 5.2 one of them, the other is a bit smaller 4-1/2 by 4.7 The "Gingerbread House Duet Pan" is made of Heavy Cast Aluminum Construction in the USA with Non-Stick Coating. I made the Gingerbread Cake Recipe that comes on the back of the Cardboard Wrap and it works Fine I took my time with a little Brush and very soft Butter to get inside and brushed each and every area of the Bundt Pan, flour both Houses and Tap out any extra flour into the Sink, to make sure the Cakes will release without any Problems. After they were Baked I let the Pan with the Cakes Cool completely on Top of a Wire Rack. All the detail from the Bundt Pan was Perfectly Transferred onto both of the Cakes/Cottages. Both Cottage Cakes Make a Great Decorating Center Piece to put on Top of a Big Cake or Sheet Cake with many Decorating Possibilities. The Bundt Pan Sits Perfectly Fine when is Flipped Outside Down to hold the Batter, I was wondering about that, they do think of everything "Nordic Ware Bundt Pan" is Recommended not to be use in the Dishwasher, as it may shorten the Life of the Non-Stick Coating on your Pan. Metal Utensils, Scouring Pads and Abrasive Cleaners should not be used on Non-Stick Surfaces. I like to fill the Pan with warm water and let it Soaked for 30 minutes, that way it is much easier to Wash using a Mild Soap and Brush, I want the Pan to keep looking New for a Long time. They are so cute. Pam doesn’t work as well doing a flour coating also does not work as well. Invest in the baking spray release it’ll make the cake come out easily and it will be adorable

This is the second time I’ve purchased this Nordicware cake mold. Nordicware is always good.

Easy to use. Sprayed well; no sticking. Smaller cakes make great holiday gifts. Easier for kids to decorate.

Nice pan

I have the larger version of this pan and wanted the smaller one so the grandchildren could decorate their own cakes. It holds half a standard bundt recipe perfectly. Be warned: the recipe that comes with the pan makes four cakes. I sprayed with baker's spray with flour and had no sticking. The details of the cakes are very clear. Good for other holidays besides just Christmas. I baked vanilla cake and we decorated them with pastel candies for Easter. The grandkids loved them!

Cute for Holiday Baking!

Bought this for baking cute little cakes to give out as little gifts for the holiday season. I have several baking pans made by Nordicware and they are all great quality and def worth the money. I also tried the recipe that came on the pan packaging and it turned out great so will probably use that recipe for when I use it to make holiday gifts.

Incredible details

As someone who doesn't like gingerbread this is the perfect solution to join in with the festivities. The tin is very weighty and has increadible detail to it. Make sure to grease well, PME's spray release is pretty good for this. The tray is pricey compared to silicone versions but it gives a far better result and is definately worth it. If looked after and washed up correctly, this tin will last for years.
