Flawed, but I still haven't found a better option
I like Nite Ize as a brand. That said, this is an imperfect product. They've certainly "built a better mouse trap" when compared to a standard split ring, but it's not quite perfect. The intention of this design is to allow individual keys to be removed or added quickly. That said, the keys can come off a little too easily. I think it comes down to the spring tension. The clips simply don't hold reliably. Fortunately, I haven't had a key come disconnected anywhere but in my pocket, but I can imagine the timing being far less forgiving, given the right pressure on the gate of the clip. I love the convenience of the Q.D. (quick detach) function. I use it most to separate my house key from my car when I want to warm it up or leave it running. Not something I'd be willing to go through with a standard key ring.

Very handy
I love this thing. I had to get the black at the time I ordered because it was all that was available. I honestly knew the black coating would probably scratch off over time, and don't really care. If you do, then don't get the black one. This thing is awesome for people with several sets of keys. I have house keys for two places, mail keys for two places, plus car keys for a couple cars. This thing makes it easy for me to only take the keys I need with me when I go out. I have all the keys, plus the spare clips, attached to a ring, and before I go anywhere I clip all the keys I need to the empty ring. This allows me to leave the shared mail key (for example) home for my husband to use while I'm gone, and he can just clip it to his key ring & return it when he's done. No more loose keys, or a million rings and needing to add/remove keys from a split ring every time.

Really useful!
So this is an unusual item but I love it. I have car keys, house keys, work keys, all on the same keychain, which isn't a problem until I want to go for a walk, and I don't want to lug all of that around (plus my car has the keyless entry so it's more than just a key, it's heavy.) With these, it's really easy to just unclip my 1 housekey... and I tie it into my shoelaces on my sneaker, and I'm good to go. It does make my keychain significantly bigger, but that's actually kind of a good thing for me since I can never find my keys in my purse! This has held up really well, doesn't un-clip, it's been great.

Excellent Organizer
I purchased several of these to use with the Nite Ize bottle cap hook keychain. The small s-biners are metal, and slightly roomier than the plastic ones that come with the bottle-cap one. I like using these s-biners above the plastic ones. And, the price is no more than you'd pay for a normal specialized key-chain at any other store. This makes for easy organization of your keys - of which I have way too many! - and allows you to easily remove specific keys from the ring for independent use.

For as easy as it seems it would be for the clip ...
I took it apart and use a couple of the smaller clips to sort my keys on one of their regular sized clips. For as easy as it seems it would be for the clip to come undone and the keys to come off, they never have. I love it.

Organizes
My keys are organized and you can take one off very easily. That being said I've almost lost keys because the clip opened on my jacket or in my pocket. Great gadget just keep an eye out you don't lose any keys.

Nice system to keep your keys.
The s-biners work well and the clips stay pretty firm which I was a little worried about. It is a good system to be able to swap keys quickly and remove some tools, like a flashlight. My biggest complaint is that the black is already started to fade but that is something hard to keep with something used like keys with hard edges.

Another great Nite Ize product
I like using these rings for single use. I have multiple vehicles and other keys. Each key has a keeper and when I want the key I take it off the ring and attach it to my key chain. It's a bit more work then most will put up with but it's a system that works for me. I have a few nite ize products. They come out with some good stuff. Already have my eyes on a few more things. Time and money will telll

praktisch
Ich habe mit diesen doppelseitigen Karabinern zum einen ein loses Innenteil in meiner Handtasche befestigt und zum anderen sind diese Dinger super praktisch, wenn man einen Schlüssel mit mehreren Menschen teilen muss. Da es keine Verschlusssicherung gibt, muss man allerdings ab und zu prüfen, ob alles noch da ist. Einer meiner Schlüssel hatte sich im Gemenge meiner Tasche gelöst, weil andere Dinge Druck ausgeübt hatten...
