So handy

Love these little things. Great for corralling charging cords, hair ties, plastic bags, etc. No more coated wires left over from various things. These r truly reusable.

Bread bag tie

Super solution for replacing the flat clips on bread bags! Just what I ordered them for. Got a bunch of gear ties too and tidied a mess of cables and cords.

Way Better Solution than Rubber Bands, Twist Ties or Zip Ties

These come in various lengths so you can find a size for just about anything... I use them mostly for cable management and the hundreds of charging cables. You can even shape them into an "S" hook to hold things up. No more broken rubber bands, twist ties that you can't figure out if you're tying or untying it (if you know, you know!) nor having to cut zip ties only to replace it.

Buy bigger than you think you need

I like the idea of these, but because they have a rounded edge at each end, it doesn’t allow you to wrap it around very many cords. I should have measured what I wanted to use them for before I bought them. I think 6 inches would be much better.

Good product, but does not last

I have bought a number of these ties and like the functionality. Unfortunately, the metal inside the plastic tends to snap and break after a few months of use.

A must-have for wired ear buds!

If you have an MP3 player or phone that you use with wired earbuds, then these are a must-have for keeping your wires from getting tangled. I’ve been using Gear Tie twists (the 3” version) for years and they are fantastic. I like to listen to podcasts and music while working out, shopping, on my lunch break, etc. So each morning when I leave for work, I tie up my earbud wires and put them in my pocket or briefcase along with my Sansa MP3 player. I can unwrap the earbuds in just a few seconds since they are never a tangled jumble. Before I starting using these twists, it often took 20-30 seconds to untangle and set up my earbuds. And there was a higher likelihood of the rubber earbud covers getting caught in the tangle and popping off. I’ve also used these twists when storing electrical adapters that have wires coming out of them. If you have a bin with a bunch of old power adapters in a bin, wrapping up the wires with twist ties will make it easier to manage. (Alternatively, you could just store your power adapters each inside a plastic sandwich bag; that works just as well.) The twists are quite durable, but they do not last forever. Because you are moving the piece of wire inside the rubber casing back and forth each time you use them, the twists will break at some point. I’d estimate they go bad on average after 4-5 months of daily use. But it’s not a big deal – just pull another one from the 4-pack out of the drawer and you are ready to go.

Very handy tie for cables

Purchased this as on the go quite a bit, and looked really useful for keeping phone, tablet, watch, ipod etc charger cables all in tidy conditions. You get 4 in a pack, and they are really easy to use and keep your cables in perfect condition. Have used them around the house on other things (tv and sky cables) and work a treat. Not bad price and great item to have for use.

Good idea and quality but needs to be longer.

Although this is a good product, 3" seems to be too short to do the job and minimum length need to 4" (which is rather hard to find)
