Perfect upgrade for Google Doorbell (wired)

I bought it since the old model did not work with the Google doorbell (wired) 2022 model. This fits perfectly in the box and looks even better without visible nail heads on the outside. For google doorbell, do not install the chime controller as this doorbell already has that built in. It was an easy setup and rings the bell (optional) when google doorbell is pressed. Super happy with the purchase

Great doorbell unit.

This item is as good or better than the unit that went out on me after 2 1/2 Years. The push button for the unit looks very cheaply made on the house. I had to get a better looking doorbell button.

Most compatible with Ring Doorbell Pro

I purchased and installed this chime because Ring stated it was compatible with my Ring Doorbell Pro. After installation, the Ring Doorbell Pro worked well. However, the new chime did not chime when the Ring Doorbell Pro chimed. I called this to the attention of Ring, and they sent me a free Ring Chime Pro (no cost to me) and now I have a huge variety of chimes to select from for each of the Ring house chime and our mobile phones. I saw several U-Tube videos of homeowners retrofitting more powerful doorbell transmitters, and related hardware to make the Ring Chime Pro work properly. I spent less than $50 and about 20 minutes to replace and install this new chime. The U-Tube videos boast only spending $65 to $100 and only taking them a half to a full day the retrofit the replacement doorbell transmitters. Therefore, save yourself some money and lots of time.

Nicole doorbell

Previous version would not connect to video doorbell without significant alteration. This one is video doorbell ready and easy to install and interfaces seamlessly with video doorbell.

Great product

This replaced our old NICOR doorbell and made it so we could use our wired Ring doorbell. Also, the installation was extremely easy.

My chime didn’t work.

We bought one that had been returned. Unfortunately my husband was in an accident and spent a long time in the hospital just after we received the unit. He wasn’t able to install it until after the return date had passed.
