Nice lights, bro! I mean bronze!

I bought these to blend in with two brick houses. I purchased the bronze version. Packaging Like other reviewers have noted, the way this item is stored and packaged makes it almost impossible to receive varying amounts of damage upon arrival. The scuffs along the base can be acceptable especially if they are used outdoors as they are not too noticeable from afar. Amazon as usual is very good at replacements and returns, just keep this in mind before ordering for any time sensitive project. This problem has also been reported to Amazon. Quality & Construction A magnet would not stick to it so I suspect is made of aluminum and NOT steel metal steel as mentioned in the Q&A section. The cylindrical casing is quite malleable which back this theory up. Also, as a result, it is very easy for them to stretch out of shape or be dented. The former is easily addressed, the latter isn't. Build quality seems average. Some reviewers have mentioned that the rubber gaskets involved with the nut fasteners will rot out quickly, which I have not verified. Aesthetics The bronze version of this light fixture is a very pleasing shade of bronze. A bit lighter than typical architectural bronze but I personally love the color. It is a simple and sleek light that will blend in well with many types of brick buildings. Functionality There is no motion sensor or dusk to dawn sensor with this light so it is rather simple. They cylindrical housings will accommodate standard bulbs (A19) and should also fit most R20 bulbs. That limits your options in terms of output power. Currently some of the noteworthy options are Ecosmart 75Watt equivalent R20 Bulbs. Will be testing these and updating the review for fit. Most economical choice Cree 100Watt equivalent R20 Bulbs. Very hard to find, brand new item as of 11/2019. GE Nightawk Bulbs. VERY EXPENSIVE Overall I would give these about a 4.5/5.0, but knocking it down to 4 due to packaging issues.

Works well, good quality.

As an electrician I’ve put in many different lights. It’s all about what light goes where. I wanted this part of my house lit up bright at night sometimes and not so much other times. None of the big box stores sell anything this nice , outdoor rated ,120 volt, where you can dim the lamp. I had to buy a fixture that would allow dimmable lamps . They don’t sell one this simple and small. It is UL listed ,outdoor rated . It fits perfectly over a round bell box yet still allows conduit fitting to hit the hubs on the box. It will also fit a 3-0 ring or standard outdoor lamp connection point. Comes with an adapter ring of good quality. The adjustment wheels are fitted with gaskets to keep moisture out. Once properly set the gaskets stay in place ,good quality. Completely! Adjustable to suit the need . At this height 15’ ish 2, par 20 ,7 watt at 3000k are in the picture. I may try floods instead of spot but the spread is pretty darn good at 15’ high. One more item off my to do list . Hard to get a bullet style fixture for under 50 . Dimmeable? Forget about it ,get this one.

vesatile product

We purchased 10 of these units to use with the E27-GU10 adapters for our GU10 base bulbs. They fit perfectly in these fixtures and thus we can put the exact amount of light required in exactly the right place. We are using them outdoors to light the entire perimeter of our property. Good product, simple effective design at a decent price.

Questionable quality

Works for my needs as intended however the quality is not great if you want to adjust often look elsewhere. The rubber in the gears is of poor quality and it already came off while adjusting after loosening.

Great light for the right price. The material feels a little cheap, but it is also 1/10th the price of many lights of the same design, so there’s that.
