well built birdhouse, with ventilation and a metal mesh bottom to allow nest to stay clean.
This is my first time buying nesting bird house, and I think this was a good choice. Proper wood, well thought of with ventilation holes, an elevated metal mesh for easy cleaning, the door has a safety hook and can allow access for cleaning at the end of the season. I like that it has a double wood guard against predators, but I wish it came with a metal guard as well. I will find one to screw on it. It suits small birds but I am afraid larger birds will pick on it.

Love this birdhouse!
This is a well-made birdhouse. I purchased a pole as I do not have the type of trees it would need to hang on. I honestly wasn't sure if the birds would take to it this season. I believe a mama is getting her nest ready in it! It's cute seeing her little head poke out. Looks to be a house sparrow. To keep wasps not interested, I rubbed on interior roof nonscented handmade soap before hanging. I chose this particular house because it has a grate you can pull out and clean after the nesting is complete.

Very well made….
The wood that this bird house is made out of is a lot thicker than all the other bird houses that I’ve looked at. That’s common sense tells you it’s going to last longer and provide better installation from the heat and cold. It is more expensive than others. I paid $27 for mine but believe it’ll be around for quite a while. I did drill holes to attach it to a post before putting the screws on to avoid any splitting of the wood. It is day one. I will edit review if something changes, but it looks like a very strong and well-made birdhouse.

Blue birds love the house!
The blue birds took up permanent residence the day I put the house out! It’s the beginning of May and there are 4 eggs in the nest!! So happy the blue birds love it!

Well Made, Hope the Bluebirds are Appreciative
This is the second of these bluebird houses I have purchased. It is well made, solid and pieces are all aligned nicely. If I was a bluebird I would raise my family in a quality house like this.

Roof broken on arrival.
As another shopper noted, our birdhouse arrived broken with no broken piece inside. Unfortunately, it was bought as a present, and opened past the date to return. I did purchase another. Otherwise, it is nice.

JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
THIS IS PERFECT TO PUT OUTSIDE ON THE TELEPHONE POLE. IT IS REALLY WELL MADE AND WILL BE GREAT FOR THE BLUE BIRDS . ONLY ONE THING I THINK COULD BE AN IMPROVEMENT A LITTLE PERCH IN THE FRONT OF THE OPENING MY HUSBAND CHECKED TODAY AND THEY ARE ALREADY BUILDING NEST. SO FUN TO WATCH

Brilliant
Superb design, but you may want to remove the wire floor. One reviewer found a deceased bird on top after getting its foot caught. (No real need for it, IMHO. Nests last only a few weeks and songbirds are more than adept at constructing them). I wanted to attract chickadees, so reduced the hole size with a 1 1/4" portal protector from Lee Valley (~$5 ). The metal also prevents squirrels from chewing at the hole. This thing is vital for blue birds. I once read at-risk species have more difficulty finding nesting spots than food. Competition for shelter is high, because house sparrows take over everything. With this box, at least they've got a chance.

Fantastic bird house
For the price these are fantastic bird boxes. Easy to clean out and sturdy. Have all the right specs and measurements. I don't use them for bluebirds but instead mount them in trees for wrens, nuthatches, chickadees, down woodpercks, etc. Make sure to add a hole spacer to reduce the size of the hole. The stock 1.5" allows house sparrows to enter (and they will very quickly). I use 1 1/4" or 1 1/8" brass hole port covers (can be found at Lee Valley), also has the bonus of not allowing squirrels or woodpeckers to widen the hole.

Really nice birdhouse
This is a really nice well made birdhouse that will be easy to clean next Fall. After reading the reviews I was really concerned about the birds getting their feet stuck in the wire mesh. To correct this, and still allow air flow, I used some window screen repair tape to cover both sides. I am hopeful that this should solve the problem and prevent birds from getting stuck, but it would be good for the company to make a screen with much smaller holes.

Entrance is too small for most birds in my area
I used a wood screw to make sure the birdhouse is always open, I only use it to pour in bird seeds. A chickadee got trapped inside because the entrance is far too small for it to get back outside. If you buy one of these, make a routine on checking these birdhouses to ensure nothing is stuck inside. That is my user experience out of this product on the first few months. I have owned this for maybe over a year by now.

QUALITY!
This house is solid and high quality! Obviously hand assembled and has great functionality. So easy to open and close for access to clean. Wire mesh inside on bottom perfect for bird grip and aeration of nest. Little grooves in the wood inside below the hole so babies can climb up. I added a perch outside below the hole in about one minute with a drill and a piece of chopstick! What a great value for money. And nothing can go wrong with it !! Six stars?
