Thinner than Expected

I'm using this wire for an electric fence to keep out bear. The description is exactly the same as what a spool at the feed store carries....smooth galvanized steel wire. But these are very small rolls. That same roll of 14 gauge at the feed store weighs 10#s for 100'. This spool weighs maybe 3 pounds for 100'. The spool is about 10 inches round. The feed store spool is 20 inches in diameter. And much heavier. I only went with this because the feed store can't get these rolls of wire. The Amazon wire is probably going to work, hopefully, as there's not much choice.

great process for the quantity. was exactly what I needed and hoped it would be. for any first time wire users for craft, you'll def need wire cutters and pliers to make narrow bends. worked great for the costume I needed it for.

High quality product without the high price tag

Very high quality wire. Used it for wooden fence post bracing. Tension the heck out of it and it never snapped. Will be buying more when I redo the next side of the fence.

It’s thick heavy duty wire.

I cut 8” pieces of this then bend in half to make garden stakes for our irrigation hose.

Nice clean wire

The finish is bright galvanized, smooth surface. The wire is ductile and easily worked by hand and bends sharp 90 degrees without cracking. Wire was neatly coiled in 8" diameter circle approximately 48 wraps...100' as expected. Measured diameter of the wire was 2.51 mm.
