Great quality hinges - count your screws

Very happy with these hinges. I needed to hang a pool gate I had made out of 2x4s. It would need to hang from a 4x4 post. This design was the perfect solution. The thin side for the 2x4 and the wide side for the 4x4. Pleased with the tight tolerances. There’s no wiggle in this hinge at all. It’s got a beautifully smooth and silent action. The product packaging could be improved. I was 5 screws short. The molded plastic face is stapled to a cardboard backing. Gaps can easily form where screws could fall out, which I believe caused my pack to be short.

Good product, but I need the one pictured

I had to return this product. I need one that is exactly like the one in your picture. I reordered another today and I am hopeful you will ship the correct one. UPDATE: You shipped the wrong one again! you need to compare the one pictured to the one you are sending me. The hole patterns need to be the same. Close only works in horse shoes and hand grenades!

Good hinges - no bearings...

Decent amount of galv, but this hinge does have a brass or plastic hinge. Will work fine for a hinge that won't get worked very much.

Heavy Duty Hinges

These seem to be very good hinges. I bought these for a homemade wooden gate and thought I would need three to support the weight. These are so heavy duty I only needed two and the gate seems very solid.

Works as it should

Works good. Could’ve used 2 per door, but wanted more strength to these doors. Only issue is the length of the screw as they were to small for my liking

Heavy duty hinges not self-closing.

I haven't installed these yet so can't comment on function or durability, but they look very well made. Contrary to many comments, there are two hinges in each package. I have two gates, ordered four packages, got eight hinges. Black screws were included. These are not self-closing, but not too important to me.

Poor quality

The galvanized finish was very rough and the hinges did not move well at all. They were very stiff even though they had plastic bushings. The build seemed sturdy but otherwise they were basically useless.

Discolored

Mine arrived discolored. It was almost as if there was a rust colored dust coating them in the package. Overall the hinges are solid and work for the gate I put up but I would have liked to receive them without the discoloration.

Heavy Duty!

I made custom doors for my shed 3' wide and 4 inches thick so I needed heavy duty hinges. I was going to use 3 hinges originally but ended up only needing 2 per door. Great product!
