Did the job on an older style aluminum storm door

This did the trick, but I wasn't in love with the finish. This was to be installed on an older aluminum storm door, but once I had this in hand next to the door, it really wasn't a match. I was installing for my GF at her place and brought it up, but she said she didn't care so off we went. It has only seen light use for the past month or so, but works as it should, so I can't really nay-say too much at this point, but I do worry about longevity a bit. Recommend with reservations.

National Hardware use to have USA made products now made in China, not made as well.

This product used to have a 1/8" shaft from inside handle to outside knob. New China made has shaft on inside with shaft on outside with 2 little tits going into the out side knob. We will see how long this will last.

This knob latch fits and works perfectly on my storm door. Hopefully I'll get 10 years out of this one.

Fell apart

Handle looks great easy to install, two adults in home and handle fell off today for no reason door was not even being opened! Purchased July of last year so 9 months worth guess you get what you pay for!

Absolutely thrilled with this

I moved into an apartment that had a broken stump of a handle. I ordered this knob which was on backorder but I was willing to wait. Then the whole knob fell apart so I ordered something else that arrived within a day. That other knob sucked. It was flimsy and the spring was weak and didn't turn the handle back to latch position. I suffered through that one until this one arrived and I was so impressed at the difference. This one has a strong spring. The materials are more robust. And it came with two plastic panels to put behind the latch to adjust the depth, which was very useful because my old latch had folded up cardboard behind it! Because of my experience with the inferior knob, I now appreciate this one much more. If it breaks with use, I will buy the same one again.

Matched with what I was replacing.

I bought another one because it fits perfect. Maybe we are to hard on it, but they only seem to last a short period. BUT, I still buy them to replace the others mostly for the convenience.
