Repeat buyer

We always keep this packing tape on hand, and just replenished our supply after shipping Christmas gifts. It is thick and easy to work with, does not split. Every time we get low, I reorder to make sure we don’t run out.

Good tape

I used it after gluing some wooden chairs back together, as I wasn't sure the glue would hold. Adding the tape has worked just fine. I put a pillow on the seat, so no one sees it anyway.

Upgrade your tape game

In the decade since I graduated college, I’ve moved no fewer than 14 times for one reason or another. I’ve also coordinated moves for large library collections. I’ve put tape from the competing brands through its paces and came away with unstuck tape and low expectations. Gorilla truly has a superior product in this tape. It feels thicker than competing tapes and is even harder to cut when unpacking boxes closed with it. Other tapes delaminate in heat, humidity, or if you look at them sideways. This tape held tough for a month in a portable storage pod during a wet, hot Florida summer. Crystal clear material means box labels are legible and protected underneath. I had a tape gun already, but this tape came without a dispenser / cutter device. Designing an upgrade to the typical tape wedge roll cutter would be my only suggestion for improving this product. Thank you Gorilla!

Stick's really good.

Tape holds great. Seal's packages good. Stays where you put it. Doesn't unravel. Highly recommend this product.

Simply THE BEST...

I am not going to write a long book here. I recently moved across the country and we had near,y 120 cardboard boxes to seal with packing tape. I started with good ole Scotch heavy duty packing tape. Overall the Scotch brand is not bad but MANY times it would split almost for no reason while unrolling some...was really a pain. Stuck pretty well though. I then moved on to two different Duck packing tapes....Thought one of them was good..but soon, saw lots of tape was coming undone off the boxes. Bought some Staples brand..MEH. Long story short without a doubt the Gorilla tape had the best mix of strength, NOT splitting, and stayed stuck., May be just a little more expensive than the rest but WELL worth the money...Great stuff!

robust. sticks well. decent coverage

purchased this on august 20 arrived 2 days after. very quick shipping. the material is thick and feels very strong. sticks fairly well and it cuts straight without getting tangled in itself if you use this without a tape gun. has a bit of a chemical odor when opening it and wrapping. would probably find this in the local department store for cheaper but overall satisfied with this purchase and would look for this tape again if I needed really strong tape

Thick and sticky I’ve been using this for moving boxes, and it’s definitely a lot better than other two cheaper brands I used before. It’s high price bothered me a bit at first. But after using it I think it worth the price.

Best Packing Tape out there

I love this tape, I keep on buying it because it is so easy to unroll, it comes right up and doesn't split, and twist the way most packing tape does. It is so thick, It really hold things together with just one piece. I use it for all the stuff I have to return on Amazon, lol, and its great for moving. I would never use any other kind of tape.

Heavy duty tape works great

I love how well this tape sticks and stays stuck. I also love how thick it is and how easy it is to get off the roll. It’s more expensive but worth it.
