Pretty nice
So many straps to adjust. Cant get to wrong on size unless muzzle of dog is to big. Like this fits my female malinois perfect but the muzzle is tight on my german sheps muzzle....not the long nose American g.s. he's a german import, DDR. Anyways, good for our needs. Not for bite work. Shes a biter in public so, what we got it for.

Didn't fit well
I'm sure it was more of a me thing with getting the wrong size, but alas it did not fit my dog NOR my head that well

the fit was as good as could be expected
My dog has never worn a muzzle before so getting use to it was tough. I think any adult dog that has never worm one will try any means possible to get it off. My dog went ballistic with it on which I think is normal but she got her toenail caught in the wire while trying to pry it off of her face. She screamed and carried on until I could free her nail. She was ok after but I am fearful of putting it on her again. I don't want her to hurt herself. Otherwise, the fit was as good as could be expected. She is a pitbull with a short, wide snout. Careful measuring is crucial. I had purchased and returned several styles and sizes before settling for this one. The dog is suppose to be able to open its mouth enough to pant and drink with the muzzle on. My dog cannot pant with it on but the bigger size sits on her eyes so that didn't work either. I can't allow my dog to exercise to the point of needing to pant with this on but it is ok for short walks and trips to the vet.

At a complete loss
I really don't know what to do at this point. I've gone thru 6 or 7 muzzles, none of them fit correctly. This one seems to be simultaneously too short and too long. Pressing into the tip of his nose and into his eyes, while digging into his bottom jaw.

Great to have if cones don't work
This muzzle was a lifesaver! My dog started chewing furiously at his then beautiful and fluffy tail out of the blue (may have all started with a spider bite - root cause never was determined) and ended up damaging it so badly that it eventually had to be amputated. We tried every type of cone under the sun to keep him from biting at his poor tail but he destroyed or got around every single one. When he managed to pull a stitch out after his tail amputation, I was desperate. A wonderful vet tech mentioned trying a cage muzzle, which I had never heard of. Anyway, I ordered this and we kept it on him at all times (with the exception of eating and out on walks) until the incision was able to heal, and then for a week or two when no one was at home with him. The only issue we had with the muzzle was that it irritated his chin a fair amount. I covered part of the muzzle wire with gauze which seemed to help.

Sturdy, but flawed
Several pokey spots I had to file down on the wires. Worst part is a pokey part in/under the leather that rubs my dog's snout raw. I've tried bandages, KT tape, blister pads, Vaseline & even a panty liner ... None worked. Ended dup buying a different one.

Excellent if the right size
It is an inch to long but I knew that when I ordered it but was the closet I could come to the circumference. I love how it fits the dog around the snout and is made. Wish I could have found one just the right length as she is not able to drink and eat with it on. That is the only reason I gave 4 stars. If I could have found the exact measurements I would give it 5 stars and recommend it to anyone. I was even able to put her regular collar through the loop for added security. Thumbs up to the company that sold it to me as it arrived in record time and the manufacture.

Good quality, not great pant room
It's great quality but doesn't have as much pant room as I'd have liked, I ordered a few sizes up too for larger circumference but it's still not ideal. The straps are SUPER long though and it's very very customizable in that sense, it's definitely not coming off, I even ended up cutting a few of them shorter because there was so much extra. It has some pokey bits of metal which I plan on filing down but just wrapped with vet wrap temporarily. It's not perfect but I got what I ordered so I can't complain, I do wish there was a size option with a 17-18" circumference yet still with a short muzzle, but bullies are always hard to fit for a muzzle so this is good enough for now until I can get something custom made!

Nice, but I think it may be a little heavy.
I got a size 3+ of this and I think it may be slightly too small for my Australian Cattle Dog - It fits well, but I am not sure about the pant room. He also walks a bit oddly, I think because his head is weighted down by the heavy metal. I considered bending this into a better shape, but this steel aint budging without some serious tools, and I may still need to send it back so I am not going to do that. I think it's probably fine for winter use when he's not needing to pant all the time, and it looks like it will last forever. I am giving it 5 because the not fitting too well is my fault, not the makers! Hopefully, you find this review helpful.

Fits properly. Well made and strong
I like the look of the rubber ones more but unfortunately they don't fit my girl properly. I find the metal one makes her look mean but its true to the measurements and fits her well. Well made and several straps that adjust to get the perfect fit.

Very important to measure
The buckles make fitting and putting on very difficult, especially for a dog new to muzzle. Stick to quick release clips. Pay a lot of attention to sizing, one dog it sits too close to his eyes, squishing them closed when fit.
