So happy I found this!
I’ve had a love/hate relationship with the blue one (you know the brand) for the past year. It works great when it actually works, but it’s a pain to get it to work with the hose being super stiff and kinking easily and the nose piece being so long. My one year old absolutely hates booger pickers but she doesn’t mind the snot sucker at all. I looked into electric snot suckers but most seemed like the suction wasn’t great for any baby older than a newborn. Found this when I was browsing through all the different munchkin products and I have no idea why I didn’t find this sooner! It solves every issue that I had with the other one; the hose is flexible and doesn’t kink, the nose piece is short and easy to hold, I can hold it to her nose at a good angle, it’s easier to clean, etc. The reviews are not lying; as soon as I used this I [very happily] tossed the other one. I love that it has a case too and different sized tips. I’m about to send one to my friend that’s a new mom to save her the aggravation of fighting with the blue one.

I have tried a few different versions of this kind of snot sucker and this is by far my favorite one.

Hands down the best one.
I’ve tried all the booger suckers having 4 kids and the youngest being 14 months. This is by far the best one I’ve ever used! Better than Nose Freda (I sucked snot into my mouth once.) better than the expensive battery operated ones too.

Throw away your nose frida
Awesome piece and more sturdy and half the price of the nose frida. There’s no need to keep buying filters and it comes with a neat case. Love it

Way better than the blue one
I had the blue one by a different company, used it with my now two year old and then again with my 2 month old. But I always felt it wasn’t getting everything. My 2 month old has really small nasal openings, or as I call them nose holes. She would just scream and I knew it was because I was sucking the side of her nostril into the opening and not getting snot. I accidentally stumbled across this one by Munchkin and had to click buy now. I reason I did was because of the different sized nasal aspirator tips. As soon as I received it, I sterilized it, spray some saline spray in my daughter’s nose, insert this and sucked out all sorts of snot. She immediately smiled then fell asleep because she could finally breathe!! This thing is a life saver and way better than the blue one. I was beside myself trying to figure out how to help my daughter. Sitting in the bathroom while holding her with the shower running on hot to create steam. Saline spray, incline sleeping, all of it. It wasn’t until we got this that I was truly able to make a difference and help her. Buy it, you don’t get saline or snot in your mouth, it will let you and baby sleep.

Forget frida
This snot sucker is a gazillion times better than the frida baby one. Not only does it have a case, it’s easier to use, the mouthpiece doesn’t fall off. I love the different tips that help with different times of congestion

Frida who?
This is the one to get. Frida is flimsy garbage compared to this thing. Plus you don’t need refills because there’s no risk of inhaling your babies snot rocket due to the design.

How are there so many 5 stars?
I honestly don't understand these high reviews. A snot sucker literally has 2 functions - suck snot into a container, and DON'T suck snot into the tube you're sucking out of. This product is garbage in both aspects. First, in terms of suction power, the plastic seams between the parts when it's all connected are not completely sealed, so you lose some of your "suck" through those seams before you even get to the baby's nose. So you can't even suck as hard as you otherwise might need to. Second, depending on how thick child's mucus is, and how long you are sucking (4 seconds or more), you can most DEFINITELY get snot into the tube and into your mouth. The tiny slits that aim the airflow into the snot chamber isn't a magic bullet, and 1 out of every 10 times your tube is getting snot in it, period. This was supposed to solve the need of filters like the single use Hydrasense crap or the stupid sponge filters in the Nose Freda product, but if the alternative is that I "might" literally ingest snot? Then I'll live with filters. Third, and maybe this is subjective - how the hell is the snot chamber so small? Yea, I get it, a newborn won't have much. But a 1 year old who brings home a daycare cold? Do you have any idea how much these little monsters produce? That chamber's size is so ridiculously small it's almost maddening. Anyway, I won't comment on why other people seem to love this product so much but in my perspective it fails in every single way a snot sucker needs to operate. Do not buy, and settle for the annoyance of filters (Nose Freda at least isn't single use causing waste).

Excellent Value!!!
My 6 week old was congested so I bought a manual bulb aspirator from the drug store but it was a total waste of money; offered little to no suction, hence, not effective. So I purchased the Muchkin nasal aspirator and it worked exactly how I wanted. I was easily able to clear snot from both baby’s nostrils and he didn’t even fuss (he was awake and sucking on his pacifier). Love that this product has three sized tips; the newborn one created a perfect seal with my baby’s nostrils. It was also very safe (no need to worry of inserting it in too far). Took just 20 seconds or less on each side to clear mucus. All snot stayed just inside the tip (didn’t enter the bulb or even come close to the tube going to my mouth, hence, no snot sucked into my mouth! The product is also super simple and fast to clean. Right after sucking the snot, disassemble and hold pieces under running tap water; tube, bulb and tip all rinse well in seconds. Can set all pieces in warm, soapy water, oscillate, and rinse again. Quick and easy! I really like the durable, stylish storage case too. I highly recommend this product.

A must have for new parents!!
This was a really good buy! Its hard to see baby struggle through congestion and nasal bulbs don't seem to have powerful enough suction to get it all out. This is so much better an drawing three different sized tips make it super easy. Baby also enjoys it and actually likes and mimics the sound it makes when snot is being sucked out... so added bonus that it makes baby happy! P.s--dont be grossed out by the idea of sucking out boogers. Having a happy baby outweighs that and once you see how it works... you'll realize there is virtually no chance for snot to be sucked all the way to your mouth.

Good sucker but case for it is too small
Everything is great about this except the case. After you’re done and you want to put it away, you can’t put it back in the case because they made it so small in a way that you need to use your Tetris skills to put it back together. Why couldn’t they just make it a little bit bigger so it’s not frustrating. I don’t have time to play Tetris with the case when I gotta go back to my baby with a cold and a runny nose.

Amazing!!
I love this so much! My daughter is 11 weeks old now and I've been using it everyday for a few weeks since we got it, I ordered it after a trip to the hospital when she was 3 weeks old because she was choking on her boogers/phlegm and not breathing. She has a very stubborn cold and her nose gets a lot of boogers especially first thing in the morning so I use this every morning to help her breathe better and it works amazingly, way better than the traditional bulb aspirator and way easier to clean too!! You don't have to buy filters for this one either which is great. Definitely a must have if your little one gets a cold, its definitely been a life saver.
