Fit, work, and bypassed tip switches w/no mods

Installed easily. Moved them back one groove from original location because both failed in two months and the cause appeared to be the brass got too hot. Bypassed the tip switches with no modifications so that is a bonus.

What is in the picture and what I ordered was NOT the product I received. I have a 2-burner Mr. Heater tank-top heater that has over 2 years moderate use on it. This season, I started it up and it would not stay lit. Found these and ordered them. My heater has a blade connector for the safety shut-off, but this did not. The picture and part number show a blade connector, but the one I got had a bullet connector. I had to cut and crimp a blade connector on it to have them work properly. It would have been fine if I wanted to bypass the safety shut-off, but who in their right mind would do that? 3-stars for the fact that the item pictured is not the item shipped. And for 14 bucks a piece, I should not have had to modify them to fit and function properly with the safety shut-off.

Works great but it''s not made for models with safety shut off switches. You either have to eliminate the switch or change the bullet connector that's on the thermocouple to a spade connector. This should be on the ad when you buy one.

Doesn't have right connector for sun rite src15t. But can be easily changed

These fail often and after little use...

The heater works fine for my shop unfortunately these "thermocouples" fail with little use and often. My Mr Heater is a propane tank top-mounted model that I have to replace the thermocouple annually sometimes bi-annually. These down times really interfere with my work. I'll toss the heater head when these last two thermocouples are burnt out and source out a better system.

simple to install, but if the connectors are different, you can easily modify it yourself because there is plenty of cable room
