Strong Clamps Good Connection
Just what I was looking for. Wired up to a 1500 watt Inverter that is stored in a heavy duty, water proof mobile container I can connect to the battery on my F250 when needed to temporarily run a small compressor.

Good Jumper Cable Clamps
These seem to be decent replacement cable clamps. I struggled with the whole installation. Lining up the clamp element and installing the screw was terrible.

Good Clamps, but Require Effort to Make
I purchased these to use of the end of 6 gauge copper battery cable to operate a Superwinch UT3000 winch on my utility trailer. They seem to be a good clamp and the spring is strong, but the design for getting the cable installed is sub-par. I removed the screw holding the copper end in and proceeded to the work bench. I stripped the cable, inserted it to the holding mechanism on the end. I took a channel lock pliers to bend the tab over as far as I could, then pressed it together with a vise. At that point, I think the wire would have stayed, but I decided to take a punch and hammer to "crimp" the tab. Then I soldered the wire just to be sure. Overall, they are a fine clamp and will work, but it just takes a little bit of time to get them ready to use. I believe that they will last a long time.

Re-purposing the clamps
We don't use the clamps for the usual thing. We make electronic meters for measuring electrical resistance and one type of the Kelvin Connectors that we designed for use with our meters are made by altering the Clamps slightly. The design of the clamps has changed over the years and, for our purpose, they are easier to use now than 35 years ago. I gave them 4 stars only because, for our purposes, all 4 of the sets of copper teeth on the jaws, should be attached with screws and nuts rather than the Pop-Rivet that 1 set of teeth on each clamp is attached with now. It would just make our re-purposing of them easier and faster. We will be buying them again.

The cable ends had good spring tension to ensure a good contact with the battery post. Good value for the money.
