Glad I paid the extra couple bucks
I needed a tri-wing to take a wiimote apart in order to paint the casing. There are lots of these for sale here on Amazon, and just as many horror stories about stripped screws, broken screwdrivers and overall very bad performance. I chose this guy even though it was slightly more because it looked like it stood the least chance of botching the job. That said, I was still very carefully when I did the unscrewing, and I'm sure that helped. It worked great, and tool, screws, and wiimote came out in fine shape. Not as cheap as some other tri-wings for sale here on Amazon, but much less costly than stripping your screws! The fact that the knob on the back twists was also a really nice element of this tri-wing (though its pretty common in small electronics tools like this) as it allows you to twist it with your fingers while resting the end of it against your palm. While it remains to be seen how it will hold up to continued use, I would definitely recommend this product, along with just being careful, to anyone looking to work with tri-wings.

Does wear easily but better than most
I like the tool better than some other cheap ones that I have used. But the tip does wear easy. It had noticeable wear after first use on a few screws. Then again that is better than some with red handles and black shaft (sold on eBay and Amazon) where the tip will actually chip off during use. I used this for the Wii.

Bought it to use instead of the swappable bit screwdrivers
I bought this to use on Wiis because the tips from my ifixit kit are too short to reach the recessed tri-wing screws they use on the Wii. It seems very sturdy, and the tip works fine for the Nintendo stuff as well as Macbooks which I've done a few of as well. Starting to really like Moody Tools.

Mislabeled Y1, not a Y0.
This is a Y1 screwdriver, not a Y0 screwdriver. If you're buying it to deal with the extremely small screws that Nintendo uses on some of its later handhelds, like the Gameboy Micro, it will not work and you will strip screws.

Screwdriver without Tri-Point

Excellent quality and made in USA!!!
I bought this screwdriver in order to remove the battery on my water-damaged MacBook Pro. I think this is the nicest screwdriver I have ever used and I plan to buy a Phillips and maybe a flathead, too, for other small screws, like those on the battery covers of the kids' toys. I was unable to rescue my Mac but will likely use this again on my next Mac or Nintendo system in the future. It is such a pleasure to purchase a quality product made in the USA!!!!

Doesn't fit a Wii.
Bought this specifically to open up a Wii, and this thing **immediately** stripped the three-point screws on it. Don't buy it if you're trying to open up a Wii. Period. It's useless, and I am now screwed -- pun unintended, but sadly accurate.

better than expected
Not much choice out there for fixed shaft tri tip micro screw drivers. Using it every day since purchase, feels flimsier than most when a screw is really tight but it has not slipped or stripped once. Solid product.
