Works fine but...
I've had this for months for a connection from my modem to my router, and although it's been laid in the same place all that time (along a wall), it still won't lay flat. Every time I unplug it and try to straighten it out, it just bends back into a curvy mess because it was so tightly wound in packaging or something. Not a huge deal, just mildly annoying as it follows a walkway in my apartment.

Durable but difficult to remove
Clips are difficult to release once installed.

It’s a Cat6 cable….
I needed a short Ethernet cable? This works fine and the build quality is at least as good as what is used at my office.

IT professional, been using monoprice cables since the company came out
I'm an IT professional turned entrepreneur, I've been using monoprice cables since the company came out in 2002 and every single cable I ever bought from them personally or professionally is still fully operational and was dirt cheap. Mono price decided to sell cables which are just wires for cheap because it doesn't cost much to make them and so they beat all competitions and became the first big name in Ethernet and destroyed that rip off company, monster cable who was selling HDMI cables for over $100 each when monoprice sold identical ones for a few bucks. No other company was doing that before but thanks to monoprice, most of the companies have cut their prices in half and monoprice is still cheaper than all of them! They must make literal pennies off each sale. Just get mono price cat6 cables and you will be future proof until you upgrade to internet that is faster than 10 GB per second because that's what cat6 cables can handle which is literally faster than the internet and much faster than your 1000 Mbps highest priced option from your internet company which is only 1 GB per second, these cables can handle ten times that.

Great cables,
Color-coding options. Future-resistant speeds. Hard to remove.

Cheap, good cable, pain to remove
It is a good cable and it worked with my Xbox. It was a pain to remove but I didn't have to use pliers like others suggested

Save yourself a headache and do this first
Cable is great for the price with one flaw. Do yourself a favor and use nail clippers to trim the sharp tabs down a bit or you won't be able to remove without special tools. I'm talking about the tab where it catches after clicking in place, where it goes from thin (the one you press) to where it gets thick (the part that holds it in when it clicks). I also bent the tab all the way out a couple times to loosen it up, it's very stiff.

This is a huge step up in data flow from Cat 5
This is a well constructed efficient data cord that is easy to distinguish from other similar cords.

Monoprice Cables Are Now Cheaper On Amazon Than They Are On Monoprice
Monoprice products have been consistently awesome up until a year or 2 ago when they started to substitute items that it sold well with awesome reviews for years. However, I was pleased to see that their ethernet cables at least have not yet been changed to something cheaper and with less quality, at least for now. Monoprice cables have always been top of the heap as far as quality and this 50 foot roll was no exception. It's unfortunate that one must now buy Monoprice products from Amazon instead of from Monoprice because their prices have, in many cases doubled, and they've substituted out so many excellent items that they sold for years, for cheaper versions with higher prices. But, like this purchase, you can sometimes still get the old original Monoprice quality at a decent price if you shop the sales.

I'm torn - it's a great cable, but clearly falsely branded as Monoprice
I'm torn. This cable was very good value for money, and arrived next day. Upon setting up, my connection was indeed much more stable, as well as my download speed went way up (even though I was previously using Cat 7 Amazonbasic cables which theoretically should do better). Did not tangle once while unravelling. It's clearly a well-constructed cable, to the standards it claims (though I haven't cut open the cable, nor would even know what to look for if I did). I'd honestly be super happy with this cable in normal situations... except it's clearly not a Monoprice cable. Which it's advertised as, and was why I bought it given how Monoprice seems to be the standard everybody raves about for Ethernet cables (and I can see why if this is trying to imitate it). It came in a random plastic bag that doesn't claim to be Monoprice except for a sticker someone else slapped on the bag after the fact (which anybody could print themselves), and upon examining the cable nowhere on the cable does it claim to be Monoprice either. This is the real giveaway as a real Monoprice cable will say Monoprice.com on it. Just check out their website or the actual Monoprice store on Amazon for the legit cables. This just has all the specs of the cable, but not Monoprice. So far as I know, Monoprice doesn't make cables like that. So buyers beware - great functioning cable, but it's not Monoprice. This is a scam trying to hook in people looking for Monoprice. Avoid unless you don't care.

Unimpressed
I recently purchased a number of Cat6 Ethernet cables. Mostly all Cable Matters, except this one because it was a 75' and I couldn't find a 75' cable matters one. It was packaged and correctly marked. (as one review said the cable had no markings). Speed is fine, although I can only test it up to 600Mbps. The cons: The ends are terrible. It almost impossible to push the release button and have it disconnect from the Ethernet jack. I had to cut off the "snag protector" just to be able to get it out of my eth port. Also, the end seem frail and bent at the connection to the cable and I just don't trust that I won't have future problems. I works but personally, I would buy another brand instead, and did.

Release mechanism is horrible
Product is overall good except for release mechanism. Speeds are as advertised. Had to use a tool to push down on the release mechanism since it was really stuck in all the sockets I tried. The release mechanism does not stick out far enough and its a horrible design to create enough leverage with your fingers to release it. For comparison an amazon basics cat6 (red in picture) cable has no issue releasing from any of the ports I tried. TL;DR: Great value, works as advertised, release mechanism is horrid.
