First time good, second time not so good
Bought this twice, both times from Amazon as the seller. The first time it’s installed and works great, gets insanely high flow which is perfect for my giant bath tub. However, I bought it again for another tub and it showed up very corroded looking. The first one didn’t look perfect, but this one just looks horrible. I was afraid it would prematurely burst so I sent it back. Is this normal for a Morn valve assembly to come looking like this?

Almost Perfect Replacement
Bought to replace a failed 10 yr old MOEN faucet stem on a Roman Tub fixture. These parts are not an exact replica of the original and maybe that is a good thing, since the original had a catastrophic failure (galvanic corrosion) which led to TWO holes in the stem and water gushing out everywhere. The hot/cold water stems are notably smaller than the originals and would likely require a flat washer to retrofit them into the holes drilled into the tub deck. Other than those issues, this is a great repair/replacement.

Moen 4792 M-PACT Valve
Worked great, I used this with Moen T961BL bathtub faucet, and it worked perfectly.

Perfect Solution
The Eva Roman tub faucet I purchased came with brazed valves, but since I have little experience with this and wanted a different handle configuration for the corner of my tub, I decided to go with this and I'm so glad I did. If you watch the installation video on the Moen website, you will see and triangular handle-spout-handle configuration, which can only be acheived with this kit. This is a brilliant idea if you are limited in your spacing. I placed the handles a bit further forward than the spout, which allowed better access to the tub since it gave me an additional 1" to 2". So easy to install and requires no brazing. Joints have yet to see any leakage.

Perfect replacement
The Moen 4793 worked perfectly. My tub has a small access and was a tight install, and I had to use sharkbite connections (PEX to PEX) — and then I used crimp rings to attach the PEX tube to the valves. I already had the tools and sharkbite connectors, so it was relatively easy.

Nothing but problems!
This connection caused the plumber nothing but grief! He had to go a purchase new spools. I had previously purchased the CC connection that didn’t work either! I also had to buy a special tool so the plumber could turn the taps! Moen is supposedly 'top of the line' for taps/showers, etc and why they don’t make a complete kit for replacement taps is ridiculous. Never again!!

This cost more the faucet set. Ridiculous as should have been included with the faucet. Other than that, easy install and good quality
