Durable & Easy Installation
This product is well-manufactured, albeit a little more expensive than others. Installation was extremely eeffortless. My wife did one of our bathrooms solo...no prior experience. She just read directions & followed the diagram. Done in abut 20 minutes. Highly recommended.

Perfect for my vessel sink!
Installed easy, looks great and the pop up works and looks great. I like the pop up drain as there are no linkages to hook up like the old style pull up knobs!

Perfect
Easy to install. I replaced a pull lever drain with this one. Worth every cent. The ease of pushing it open or closed. I will work with any faucet / sink just make sure the color matches your faucet!

I can't believe I wrote this much about a drain
I cannot believe I have this much to say about a drain, but it was a learning experience so I'll share. Some things you may want to know about this drain: * The oil rubbed bronze color is lighter than most oil rubbed bronze fixtures. It doesn't look grossly out of place with my much darker faucet, but I would have preferred a darker finish. Most people would probably never notice the color mismatch during normal sink use, however. * The drains are different lengths depending on the color. The ORB drain is 6.5 inches long, which is shorter than most drains. This didn't end up being an issue for me, but you may wish to check your plumbing configuration or plan on buying an extension pipe. * I found a spec sheet on another retailer's website that listed all of the drain's dimensions, which was helpful to troubleshoot potential issues before purchasing. Installation was relatively straight forward. Here are some notes: * The metal nut that tightens against the bottom of the sink is annoyingly short in height, making it more difficult than necessary to keep my channel lock pliers engaged on it while tightening. * I replaced the flange gasket with plumber's putty so that the flange would sit flush with the sink. No issues there. * I used plumber's tape on all metal threaded connections, which I recommend as I had some leaks until I did this. I have never replaced a sink drain before and my plumbing experience is limited to replacing faucets. Having said that, I found the hardest part of this project to be figuring out what push button drain dimensions / features were critical, and then locating a drain that fit those needs. And my sink seems pretty run of the mill. Here is what I learned: * Most important: What is the diameter of the hole in the sink that the drain has to fit through? There are several different common sink hole diameters, and it's critical to make sure that the drain you choose is small enough to fit through the hole. Initially, I wasn't aware that sinks had different sized holes, and the first drain I ordered was too big in diameter. * Important: Does your sink have an overflow? If yes, your drain should have one too. If no, you want to buy a drain without overflow. If you don't know what an overflow is, Google it before buying a drain. * Semi-important: Figure out what flange diameter will work best for your sink. If the drain flange is too large or small, it may look funny or cause water to pool at the drain. I looked for a drain with a similar flange diameter as the drain it was replacing. * Less important: Ideally the color of the rubber seal around the push button should match/blend with the finish of the drain, because it is visible when the drain is open. This Moen oil rubbed bronze drain has a black rubber seal, which blends in pretty well with the ORB and doesn't draw your eye to it. Summary: Pros: * The drain functions well & the quality of the parts seemed solid * It fits my sink, where every other drain I could find on Amazon or elsewhere didn't * Installation was relatively easy, even for someone with limited plumbing experience. Instructions were ok but not terrific. * You can remove the pop up piece to clean out debris w/o getting under the sink * Detailed specs available (on other sites), so that you can make sure it will fit before buying it Cons: * Expensive! A fairer price (in my estimation) would be in the $20-25 range. I paid around $47. * The ORB finish is lighter than most ORB finishes, and drain had a small finish imperfection at the edge. This was not a big enough of a deal to send back.

Make sure you measure your old pop ups before getting these. They are 2 1/4" wide.
These are good, but I could not use them. They are 2 1/4" wide and water would stay at the bottom of my sink. I needed a 21/8 to work properly.

Very nice quality
As someone who has wasted much time with the cheap plumbing junk that is the under $20 drains to splurge on a moen. U can easily see & feel the difference. It is too bad they dont come with install instructions because it's too easy for non-plumbers to botch the install of a drain & create leaks. I used plumber's putty under the sink flange & NOT the included black rubber washer since the washer made it sit too high.

Works But Beware of a few things
This drain works ok and is fairly easy to install if you’re aware of a couple of things. First, make sure the threaded portion is long enough for the thickness of your counters. Fortunately, it was just barely long enough for me to get the nut on underneath the vanity but it was close. Secondly, before installing, put some Teflon tape on the threaded pipe that screws into the bottom of the drain. If you don’t, it will leak- I learned the hard way but now have lots of experience installing and uninstalling the drain. The good news is that it seems to have fixed the slow draining issue we were having with our vessel sink.

High quality product
Our vessel sink drained very slowly due to its installation using a flat, multi-holed strainer at the bottom of the vessel. When the sink tried to drain, there was no where for the air to escape other than the drain holes which were blocked by the draining water. The pop up drain provides far more surface area to enable the air to escape as the water drains. (There is a You Tube video that shows how the pop up drain fixes this draining problem.) Anyway, the slow draining problem was fixed. Also, the quality of the materials in the Moen drain is far better than your standard drain complementing rather than detracting from the quality of our vessel sink. My only negative is that the accompanying instruction sheet failed to identify where to use plumber's tape and plumber's putty. I know that this is rudimentary knowledge for any plumber, but as a DIYer, it would have been helpful info. P.S. The drain works flawlessly with no leaks. I should have replaced the drain years ago!

Great Warehouse Deal!
This was the only drain that was small enough to fit my new copper sink. I lucked out and got it as an Amazon Warehouse deal for a fraction of the price of a new one. It arrived in perfect condition and looks great!

Easy install, good quality.
Always liked Moen products for their high quality. Responsive push-to-close, push-to-open mechanism. Used one in our last house for almost 5 years without any problems. Highly recommended.

The black paint is peeling off ! Why bother buying a black drain if it won't stay black?
Bought this product a few years ago and the black paint layer is popping off of the drain. It looks terrible! I am forced to buy a replacement.

Failed within the first 60 days
Purchased this item and installed it correctly. Within the first two months the pop up mechanism failed.
