Very handsome unit

I purchased this to freshen up a sink where the plug and collar had been marred by hard water. I am sure it was fault as I didn’t realize through reading the description on line that it was for a specific type of drain assembly and I needed a totally different kind in which the collar was attached solidly with the drain assembly. I wasn’t able to use this as planned but it was very pretty just wish I had read more carefully.

Good quality

Excellent quality. The drain ring and stopper are thick metal. They appears to be anodized, not painted like the cheap units. As another review commented, this stopper is shorter than the original Moen Brantford - see photo of original next to a ruler. The new stopper is shorter but works fine because the original had 2 usable lengths - see the 2 holes on the original stopper stem. Also as another reviewer commented, the original oil rubbed bronze ring drain ring is a snap in "beauty" piece that is mated onto a chrome ring. The new drain ring is one piece which is better. You can remove the bronze beauty ring with a screw driver or pliers as shown in two photos. However when using a screwdriver you risk chipping the sink. You'll need to disassemble the original pop-up, clean it and then use the new drain ring and stopper. Don't forget the plumbers' putty. This is a moderately difficult task, not too bad if you've installed a pop-up drain before. Yes it's pricey but good quality and matches the original drain and faucet well.. This part assumes that the pop-up itself is in decent condition and only the in-sink visible portions (ring and stopper) need replacement because they are worn.

Not a universal waste seat

Seems like a good quality product, but not a universal Moen waste seat/pop-up. The product posted on Amazon has a link to confirm this fits the make/model of your waste assembly. The threads are on the inside of the waste seat. Couldn't find a waste assembly this would fit. The waste seat did not fit the replacement waste assembly Moen sent to me for the Banbury faucet (thank you Moen!). Learn from my mistake, check the make/model before ordering. The return/refund process was quick and easy.

Perfect replacement

It looks like part of a drain assembly that was simply open-box but unused as if the installer used a strainer style instead or something. Fit perfect and the finish was exactly like the original that came with our Moen Brantford ORB-finish faucets. Definitely beat paying full price for a replacement packaged for retail.

Well built, solid pop-up assembly with FINE THREADS!!!

This is a very well built assembly and definitely feels solid. Our original oil rubbed bronze pop-ups lasted just over 10 years and then lost their finish. When I removed the originals (installed by original builder), I noticed the original oil rubbed bronze pop-ups were caps on chrome flanges. These are very sturdy and much better made. Also, keep in mind that these are made for drain bodies with FINE THREADS. They will not fit course threaded bodies you find at the local big-box hardware store.

Perfect replacement for Moen ORB faucets

Exact replacement drain plug and seat for existing Moen Voss ORB bathroom faucet. Only complaint is price, $40 is ridiculous but hey, beats buying a new faucet altogether.

Don't buy

It won't seal the drain completely. I put some water in the sink with drain closed but the water disappeared the next day. There is some design defect in this product

This does not hold with a plastc down drain.

I couldnt use this as tightening the down pipe attached to drain stopper ring would not tighten enough with out stripping threads on down pipe. Had to order a different kind.

Not an exact match even though its the right P/N

I was told by the Moen representative this part number was my replacement. Even confirmed it on their product sheets, however whatever I received did not match and did not fit properly. Returned it
