I could cry I am so happy with this!!
This will be a semi long review and I never leave reviews but I wanted to share how I used this because I was at my absolute wits end with cat urine!! I have 3 cats and one cat decided she wanted to use my converted garage as her toilet. It’s a big carpeted room with concrete underneath. She peed all over this freaking carpet. Not just a corner. THE WHOLE CARPET. I thought I was going to have to have it recarpeted as I rent my place. Anyway, I had tried some other enzyme cleaners, didn’t really help. Tried Anti-icky poo by using a black light and pouring it on the urine spots, which helped a lot but I still noticed a smell. I decided to buy this again, as well as the pretreatment P-bath by mistermax that goes with this. I didn’t really want to spend the extra money but glad I did! The pretreatment helps the anti icky poo to work by neutralizing other chemicals that were previously used that would kill the live enzymes in the anti icky poo or something...I’m not a scientist but it definitely helped! And it was a whole process but this is what worked for me. I was on my hands and knees putting my nose to the carpet and there was finally NO MORE CAT PEE SMELL!!! So, I put the diluted pretreatment in my bissell carpet cleaner (I thoroughly cleaned the shampoo basin before. And it says on the machine not to use other cleaners but I did anyway.. no damage so far). I had to refill the carpet cleaner with the pretreatment (remember to dilute it!) 3 times to cover the carpeted area. Then I went over the carpet again with just water to kind of rinse away the pretreatment. Then I went over the whole area immediately after with the anti icky poo which I also diluted with about half water and half anti icky poo (how many times can I say anti icky poo haha). Then, I got a towel and laid it on the wet carpet and walked on it to stamp it in. I was sniffing all areas of the carpet and noticed there were some spots super close to the wall where the carpet cleaning machine couldn’t quite reach so I put anti icky poo (not diluted) in a spray bottle and sprayed the heck out of those areas. And just to be safe I used a turkey/meat injector and injected the anti icky poo into the carpet along the wall and into the spots I remember seeing her go pee. I used a black light and all the urine stains are gone! I will do an update in a few days after it’s dry to see if the smell returned or if I had to do this whole process again. I keep my cat mostly outside and when she is inside I carry her to the cat box and make her use it and then give her a treat. That really seemed to help break her from peeing on the floor as well as cleaning the cat box every day. I know this was long but I hope it helped someone because this was causing me so much stress!

Dumb name, rockstar results
When my cat gets anxious or stressed, he expresses that by urinating outside of the litter box. In the past, he had only ever targeted bath mats, which then always had to be put up over the tub whenever not in use. About two and a half weeks into a particularly difficult and prolonged moving process, I discovered he had been peeing all over multiple piles of clothing and towels (which hadn't yet been sorted through), something he had never done before. The urine unfortunately wasn't contained by the piles and had seeped down into the carpet, which had just been put in brand new. In the chaos I had failed to notice it immediately, so it was going to be an uphill battle. To get the urine out of the laundry, I threw everything in the washer, and boosted my regular detergent by alternating between using Kids N' Pets from Home Depot, plain old borax, and OxyClean. After multiple cycles, this rotating combination finally saved everything except a couple of items (that were thankfully expendable). The carpet, though, was a different story, because by that point it had been repeatedly soaked and dried with urine all the way down to the padding. The Kids N' Pets did absolutely nothing, which was surprising, given it had been effective in the wash and I have used it successfully on hard surfaces. I went to the local pet store for some Nature's Miracle (the supposed "gold standard") enzymatic cleaner for cats. Although it took care of the little one-timey spots, it barely made a dent in the area where he had peed the most, even after two rounds of treatment. With the cost of each gallon of failed product mounting, I took to the internet for a better solution and found a universal recommendation for this brand everywhere I looked. I was dubious because the name was... well... pretty dumb, and not exactly confidence inspiring. Who would ever expect to be taken seriously if they brand themselves after a baby-talk term? But, good word of mouth is usually there for a reason, so I gave it a shot. Unlike the other two, this one didn't recommend blotting after application, which may or may not be an important difference in technique. I applied the Anti-Icky-Poo liberally (I still can't even type that without cringing), stomped it in, and let the enzymes get to work. A few days later, I checked the carpet very thoroughly, and then the clouds parted and the sun shined down for the urine stench was gone. I'm talking, I put my face right on top of each spot and inhaled deeply. Not a whiff of cat pee anywhere. As they say, don't judge a book by its cover. I'm pretty much just going to dump everything else down the drain, because this product is absolutely legit and it will definitely now be kept in the house at all times. Kids N' Pets is cheap, but I apparently got what I paid for. The more I've experienced with Nature's Miracle over the years, the less impressed with their pet lines I've become. Anti-Icky-Poo (ugh) is priced comparably, and is in fact a few dollars less. Most importantly, it got the job done after the previous two had failed, and it provides far more value as something that accomplishes what I need the first go round. I just wish it had a different name.

Works great, works even BETTER with the pre-treat
Used this on a garage floor where my cat had an error in judgement. Seemed to help, but when I tried again with their P-Bath pre-treat, it worked 100% like magic. Highly recommend you ALWAYS use both.

Is it supposed to be clear?
This is the second time I purchase this product and it does work very well, but with this new gallon that I purchased, the liquid is clear/transparent rather than a milky white color. Is this normal? Did I get a bad batch?
