arrived slightly damaged

Although the box was undamaged, the product had a small damage on one corner, like it was scraped along brick. From this I deduce it must have happened during manufacturing or packaging. Not enough damage to return. With small kids around we really needed this before we could turn on the fire place. In low light the damage is not visible at all. It does weigh quite a bit, which makes it stand very solid. Does not seem like it would topple over easily. Just what I need with the kids running around.

sturdy and fully functional

This is a very solid fireplace screen. It does the job. Its big enough for our large opening in our older home, when fireplaces were built large enough to heat the whole home. The welding on the square decorative details is a bit sloppy. My husband loves it. It's a manly fireplace screen.

Welll-made, sturdy, character

We recently remodeled our fireplace, using some beautiful mosaic travertine tile on the facing and a slab of tan brown granite on the hearth. I spent quite a bit of time looking for a fireplace screen and wanted something with character. Originally I wanted a flat screen that would fit flush with fireplace opening, but when I saw this one I changed my mind. The screen is well-made, quite heavy, and a great choice!

Beautiful Screen

This screen arrived totally assembled and exactly as pictured. It is surprisingly heavy and of excellent quality. Love the design and would highly recommend it. It looks beautiful on our fireplace hearth.

Delivered damaged

Not only was the shipping box damaged but the inner box was damaged and included a note from a previous purchaser outlying damage to the screen. It was not in the condition as specified in the description and is unusable with missing hardware and a torn screen.
