Perfect for in front of the fire

This is perfect on my hearth to hold fat wood. It will hold about 7lbs. I like the open design. It is well made and looks nice.

Just as it is described

While the packaging was a bit scant, the ITEM is great. It is just as described and I restate that because it sticks out in my head that someone else complained that is is so small .. the dimensions are listed .. it is great. It holds an attractive amount of the fat-wood .. the 4 pounds that it came with is almost its limit but since fat-wood is AWESOME that's plenty for several fires. It is great for my space, frankly I need more space for my firewood so if this was larger it would be displacing room for the real workhorse of keeping me warm! The only con I can see is the mesh part could be a tighter weave so less debris falls out but frankly my cat and my firewood make more of a mess! I recommend this for smaller spaces.hearths. Get more fat-wood too .. that stuff is crazy good.

DISGUSTED!!

Absolutely Disgusted with this purchase! I just received this item in the mail. When ordering I assumed the product would be on the smaller side, but this is a little ridiculous. The picture is so enhanced, and looks much nicer than the actual item. The part where the kindling would sit, is so small a bowling ball wouldn't fit. The actual opening is only 8 inches! Absolute waste of money, item was not cheap, and will actually look ridiculous near my fire place.

Looks even better in person!

I ordcered this to give as a gift. It looks great and will look perfect next to the wood stove. I didn't realize that it came with fatwood, so that was a plus! Arrived in great condition and very quickly too.

Falsly Advertised - Dimesnsions Much Smaller

The actual dimensions are 8"x10"x14". The box it came it doesn't even measure 12" as advertised. I took photos if you want see what it actually looks like with a ruler around it. The product itself is nice had it only been the size it said. It's way too small . . . especially for $50.
