Works wonders
I am fairly new to saltwater reef aquariums, started in late 2021. I have struggled to maintain a healthy tank. I recently lost control of my tank as my nutrients bottomed out and I got the dreaded dinoflagates. My sand bed, rocks, and corals were covered in stringy strands. My tank was getting smothered. I am not going to say this is a cure all for your tank, but I only changed 3 things to gain control back of my tank. 1 Reduced my light cycle to 4 hours a day with no whites. 2 I added 1 capful of Brightwell Aquatics MicroBacter7 per 20 gallons each morning. 3 I added 1 capful 3% hydrogen peroxide each night. I followed the directions on the bottle for the first two weeks then cut back to one capful every other night. I am at my 3 week mark right now and I still have dinos, but is only on my rocks. And each day I notice a little less. The bottle says to cut back to one capful per week after 2 weeks, but with how bad my tank was I will wait until week 4 to cut back further. My sanded is clean even with the whites turned back on!

It works
My reef tank was filled with Dinos and recurring Cyanobacteria..... ( they are both forms of bad bacteria ). This product introduce some good bacteria into my tank that effectively ate all the bad bacteria. In short ..... my tank is cleaner and safer to my corals.

Helped get rid of algae
If you have a reef tank with an algae problem, you need to figure out the underlying cause of the problem and fix that in order to get rid of the algae. In our case, the tank was carbon limited and so we started carbon dosing. We also added a few clean up crew members and started using Microbacter7. We really think this product helps and is a good product to add to the tank. I wouldn't expect it to solve an algae problem all by itself, but I really do think it helps and highly recommend it.

This is an excellent product and I’ve used it many times in the past however the shipment I received today was half frozen and leaking everywhere. Shippers might want to consider heat packs in the winter.

This product saved my fish!!!!!
I can’t thank you enough for making such a great product. I had a huge nitrate problem and fish were dying daily. I was trying everything I could to help them, doing drastic water changes every other day, using filter additives and other products but nothing seemed to help and they kept dying. I could literally tell a difference within one day of using it. The water became a bit clearer and the fish seemed to be in less distress. But by the second day of dosing my neon tetras, who had been gasping for breath and swimming sideways, were swimming normally again!!! I had lost most of the school over the previous week and thought they were goners for sure but they came back to and it’s day four now and I haven’t lost one more fish! They’re all swimming normally now, the water looks so much clearer and my light is shining very brightly through the tank! I can’t recommend this product enough!! It literally saved my fish’s lives and helped me emotionally as I felt so guilty for losing so many of them. I bought a huge bottle and will keep dosing every day for the next two weeks, and will plan on using it once a week for the rest of my fish keeping days I’m so sold on this product. If they have stock I’m buying as many shares as I can afford LOL

Did nothing for my cycle
Bought this to cycle my marine tank using dry Rock and supposedly 'live' sand. Had dosed with ammonia and used this product as directed, tested regularly for the presence of nitrites/nitrates and had no action what so ever and ammonia levels stayed the same several weeks on. I know these products are hit and miss, but this one didn't work for me so just a waste of money really. If your thinking of bacteria in a bottle products ...I would forget it and get some cycled live rock instead, I tried around 5 different bacteria in a bottle products and nothing worked until I obtained a small peice of live rock from a local marine seller.

This really works!!!
This product will help your reef system in more ways then one. I had an issue with cyanobacteria and dino, after over doing carbon source my tank and has suffered double zero phosphate and nitrate. so after lot of research and using different chemicals products that didn't really work, this microbacter7 made a massive difference. I dose this for two week as per the instruction and then 3 day black out. All is back on track with my reef tank again. I will definitely be continuing using this product to maintain the balance of my reef, it made all the difference. I hope this review will help out another reefer.

Good stuff
Helped to get rid of cyano in my tank took two weeks but tank looks loads better now sand is clean rocks are clean nitrates 5ppm and phosphate undetectable
