Impressed. Thanks to Amazon reviews this was my first attempt at a slipcover.

4/5 stars is just right. Looks great in black, covering my putrid plaid piece. I found the reviews that included basic dimensions of chair the most helpful: mine is on the narrow side at 28 inches wide for seat. My chair is 44 inches tall. Fits great though not without a little fussing and tucking. Material is pretty and soft, is thin, though seems to be durable. I agree, annoying that the tags for labeling placement are stitched into the seams on the outside; they do not rip out easily and can stretch the material or break the stitching, so be careful. It's is perfect for a cornerpiece or chair that is placed where the back can be hidden, as there is extra material in the back, kinda if like a bunching in a dress (I am a guy I f this doesn't make any sense, ladies). Most of the extra material can be tucked away out of site, and only a little fold appears here and there after you sit in it which takes seconds to fix. If you're a little clever, there are ways to hide bunching (in my case occurring mostly where the arns meet the backrest) by creating a fold that appear natural...remember it is thin material so bunching isn't hunk-y. The corduroy ribs are subtle and classy looking. I didn't thing the base hung well, as a small skirt, due to the spandex in the material. I used about 15 upolstery tacks and nailed it under, which looks tight and clean. This material does collect lint, though not to the extreme described by others IMO, and can be removed with a roller. My mother who salvaged this piece 3 years ago, came over to look at it. She is somewhat of a Martha Stewart type, and she was really impressed.

Good enough but not worth what they cost

Well, I just put these on my couch and loveseat. My sofas are pretty stained from my dog, and we have family coming over to stay for a few days so I wanted my furniture to look decent. I really like these covers, but we'll have to see how they hold up. Upon first putting them on my sofas they look good. HOWEVER - the tags all over the slip cover that tell you "center front of cushions" or "back" or "arm" are on the OUTSIDE OF THE DAMN SLIPCOVERS. NOT the inside. And they are in areas that can be visually seen, not in areas that are hidden by tucking. The only tags that are hidden by tucking are the ones that say "tuck excess fabric". I've had other slipcovers before, and they were smart enough to keep the tags hidden on the inside. But with these ones, I had to cut all the visible tags off. So if I decide to take the covers off for washing or to store them until the next time family visits, I'm gonna find it very hard to figure out which way is which when I put them back on my sofas. I'll have to see how they do after having my family and dog sitting on them for a week if they still look good.

The color is very true to the picture and is a pretty blue. The fabric looks like real sofa fabric and covered my dark damask underneath very well. It is soft and comfortable. The instructions for putt it on are not great. In fact, I could not get that to work, so I put it on front first without the seat cushion, then fit it to the rest of the chair, then put the cushion inside. The back rides up slightly from the front. The front looks good, but the back is where the elastic is, and that rides up a little. The "wings" are very specific to the shape of the chair, so I had extra fabric left at the top of the wings. If you sit in the chair long periods (>1 hour) it gets a little pulled up and you have to re-tuck. But overall, I needed to put a facade on an ugly chair and this works well.

Fits great for this exact style of chair.

Its pretty nice the material feels very nice. The arms of my chair are a little different but this was as close as I could find to the style of chair I have. So I knew it might not fit exactly right. My chair looks much better even though the arms don't fit quite as nice. It was easy to put on and looks like it will hold up well. There are tags all over it that say top, arm, arm etc. Which makes it easy to put on. Now once you take those tags off its gonna be a little more challenging but it shouldn't be too hard. There isn't away to adjust the arms if your chair is a little different. I would give it 5 stars if there was a way to adjust the arms a little. I think they should make the tags permanent but put on reverse side.

Exactly what I wanted.....................

I am very pleased with the stretch slip cover. Not hard to put on but lots of tucking which is okay, I think I will put a dowel behind the cushion to anchor it. The end caps do not fit well but I will have to do some alteration there. I would suggest putting a safety pin in the inside of the center front and the center back to mark where you place it on the chair after you launder the cover. Otherwise I think it would be confusing. I also turned up the hem because it looked too long. Since this is not an every day chair I might just anchor it with double faced tape. All about the look, right?! It is a very pretty blue and goes beautifully with my blue toile wallpaper.

Fit like a glove

I have a wing back chair that one of our cats loved to scratch even though he has a cat scratching post right behind the chair. Not wanting to get rid of the chair, I ordered this slip cover. It was easy to put on the chair and the color is perfect. It matches the rest of the furniture beautifully. I would recommend the purchase of this item to anyone. The one minor problem is that the bottom does not fit tight to the chair. Maybe they aren't supposed to? It looks OK though. By the way, my cat does not scratch the chair anymore.

I absolutely love this chair cover! I have a slipcovered wing chair I bought ten years ago from an incredibly expensive furniture store. (It turned out the slipcovers were the expensive part of the chair). To replace them would add up to two thirds of the cost of the original price of the chair. So I went on a hunt looking for cheaper replacements. After three years--no luck. So I used throws to cover the cotton duck fabric. The chair's ottoman cover was in bad shape too. I knew it would be easier to find a cover for it. So while searching for it I came upon the wing chair cover--finally-- on Amazon. I bought them both. I love them. The price was right so I intend to buy more colors. The chair cover and ottoman fit perfectly and I am thrilled!

Great fit and easy to clean for chairs I didn't want to part with because of comfort but their look was dated.
