Saved me about $500

I have a nice bike rack for my car with a 1/4” receiver. BUT-when I try to use it on my truck, which has a 2 inch receiver, it wobbled like crazy. , no more wobble so I saved around $500-because I didn’t need a new bike rack for the 2 inch hitch.. absolutely no problem whatsoever

Got rid of both noise and wiggle

It makes things feel solid rather than loose and sketchy. It worked so well I bought another one for a friend. The only minor quibble was the the nut size listed on the piece of paper wasn't correct.

Supplement to Yakima lock system

I bought this not realizing Yakima has a lock system on their units. I bought it and attached and it works great! Beefy design and it supplement's as a security feature bolting your bike rack in place. While anyone can unbolt it, it’s extra effort and requires tool. Drove 650 miles and no problems no shaking ????.

Much quieter now

I installed this on my trailer hitch that is on my golf cart. Before, it rattled quite loudly with the tongue installed. Now, all I hear is the hum of the motor. Installed in about two minutes.

Well Made! Great Price!

Worked as designed and described! Bought one in January and paid twice as much. This was identical to what I received. Now that it is here, I need one more. Ordered it a few minutes ago. It will be here tomorrow. ????????

First and only time I started to tighten the nuts they threaded the stems before they even started to tighten up - poor steel - useless

Must Have for Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier

Works exactly as intended. I almost opted for a cheaper alternative but after reading some reviews found that the quality of the u-bolt on the cheaper hitch tighteners were poor and they would bend. Given that this hitch tightener works for both 1-1/4" (which I have) and 2" receivers I had concerns that the u-bolt might lose integrity over time because it does bend inwards slightly when fully tightened. Ive installed and removed the hitch tightener 4 times now and everything is holding up perfectly. I used the hitch tightener to secure my 2 bike carrier and it eliminated all of the swaying I used to have. For just under $20 it was well worth it for peace of mind while on the road and transporting my bikes. Definitely recommended.

Simple and it works!

Easy to install. No more rattles or clunking. Let’s see how a winter in Canada with the salt and road debris will affect it. So far so good.

Very strong, and takes the rattle/bounce when hauling a full size dirt bike

This product keeps the wear/strain low on the hitch when hauling items with low tongue weight (or items with high tongue weight but no axle such as bike or dirt bike hauler). I love it and would recommend it for the price and ease of use. Just don't tighten it too much, it is very strong and can actually crush the hitch insert.
