good product and works

the mask works well but it is hard to put one because the strap is not very much easy to use. But overall it works and can protect.

very soft but runs small

Good comments: 1. It is made of very soft cotton. It feels almost like an Egyptian cotton or sateen without the sheen. The fabric is more like cotton jersey rather than quilting cotton. I ordered the white ones and they are bright pure white. The earloops are made of the cotton fabric, not elastic. This is good for those with latex allergies. 2. The thickness of the mask is good. If you hold the mask up to a lighting fixture, you can not see it. 3. There are three layers of fabric. You can tell if you pull the layers apart from the front and back of the mask. 4. You can tell the front and back of the mask if you look at the stitching. I just marked the masks on the back with each person’s initials so we know which side faces out. 5. The price at the time of purchase (June 2020) during the pandemic was $31 for 50 masks. This was the price for disposable blue masks (around $30 for a box of 50). 6. I like the fact that they are not disposable and so better for the environment. 7. The masks arrived quickly. I was/am still waiting for cloth masks from other places so I ordered these instead of buying additional disposable masks. 8. I do not really notice any smell for the anti-microbial finish. Other comments: 1. The masks are small, both the mask portion as well as the length of the earloops. I would guess that they would fit elementary school children best (even before drying in a dryer). Fortunately, I did not put the masks in the dryer. I just stretched them gently by the earloops as much as possible (without hearing a ripping sound) when wet to extend the length a little. Still, a lot of them were small for the adults. The mask portion tucks just under the chin because of the small size, but it does not slip off the chin. The sides fit about below the eyes, and do not wrap around the face towards the ears. 2. The sizes vary in the pack. I hung them by an earloop from a pencil, and there were noticeable (like up to one inch) differences in the length of the masks. The size of the mask rectangles, however, were pretty consistent. 3. There is no nose piece to conform the mask to the nose. My ideas to make the most of these masks: 1. I am going to try cutting the earloops off the smallest masks and use the extra lengths to extend the earloops of some of the other masks. I could also use the trim across the top and bottom of the mask if I needed to, but this portion is thicker since three pieces of fabric are sewn and sandwiched into the trim. I might as well try to use these masks somehow since we already have them. 2. We hope to tie-dye eventually. It will be something crafty for the kids, as well as make each mask unique. I am going to wait until the anti-microbial finish washes out. 3. I may cut out the back layer of the fabric to make it two layers to be able to breath a little easier. It is not too hard to breathe with the existing three layers, however.

Great value (Update below)

Updated July 24, 2020: My kid finds the ear loops uncomfortable after wearing the mask for a while. I think the ear loops are too thick for her little ears. Also I did find that after multiple washes they shrank more so they’re on the small side for grown up faces. I wore one of them while I was working out outside and it was harder to breathe because the fabric was tighter across my face (due to the mask being on the smaller side). But I find all cotton masks uncomfortable during workouts. I’ve downgraded from 5 to 4 stars. Just wish they fit either the kids or the grownups better. Still a good deal for all cotton masks so I’ll keep them around as backups cuz let’s face it you guys: mask wearing is going to be our reality for a while longer. Bought these on June 19, 2020. 50 masks for 31 bucks. I received 50 white cotton masks. The packaging of my masks indicated they were made in Vietnam. If you look up the RN number on the packaging on the FTC’s site it looks to be registered to Hanes. Makes sense. These masks feel like undershirt material. Or like I’m wearing a tighty whitey over my face. The product description says three ply. I can only confirm there are two layers that I can pull apart from each other. It’s possible there’s a third layer in there, I just can’t feel it for sure. The cotton is indeed soft. The ear loops are stretchy. They’re comfortable. The quality for the price is great. Plus I like that they’re cotton. They feel like real cotton. I bought these for my 7 year old when (if???) she goes back to school this fall. I’ve bought much more expensive masks on Etsy and other sites. These are hands down better than the Etsy masks but not as good as masks I’ve bought from Rendall Co. (but at almost $20 per mask!). I also tried masks from Avocado Green Mattress which were reasonably priced but not comfortable. I like these masks from Amazon because I won’t be upset if my kid loses them at school. The biggest hesitation in buying these were complaints from other reviewers about sizing. The masks are all more or less the same size but there is some slight inconsistency in sizing and length of ear loops. Not enough to be a big deal. See my pics. I took a picture of the packaging showing the RN number and country of origin. I also have a pic of the mask before I washed (bottom mask) and after I machine washed in hot water with bleach and dried on high heat (top wrinkly mask). Some shrinkage but really not a big deal. The masks fit well over a 7 year old’s face. I have an average sized woman’s face (admittedly a little fatter after gaining the corona15) and they fit me just fine. They also fit over my husband’s slightly larger than average head/face. Stay safe!

Great deal for a package of 50. Could do with being longer across the face. Comfortable to wear.

These are handy for the COVID19 world we have to live in, where wearing a face mask is mandated (indoors) everywhere you go. At a dollar a piece, they are handy. Comfortable, I do not overheat in them. Easy to breathe through for those that overheat easily wearing a face mask. Just wish the length was longer so they fit ear to ear. Would not recommend for someone with a larger face shape. PROS: package of 50! Comfortable to wear. Easy to breathe in without overheating. Very stretching fabric. Wash and dry well, no shrinkage. T-shirt type material. Soft fabric. CONS: Must be careful not to over stretch ear loops. Fabric does not go ear to ear, so they would be NO good for someone with a large face shape. Thicker ear loops than other face masks I own. Not adjustable to adjust to fit different people. These would be ideal for children, and adults, teens who are on the more smaller side. Another buyer indicated they sewed on the end of the ear loop to make them fit more snugly. Overall a good deal for the price. Just not for those with larger heads. As these are not good for my teenage son who has a larger head. Hence, the 4 stars instead of 5.

One size does not fit all

Good value for the money. The masks seem to be well made. My beef is that they are too big for my face and cannot be adjusted. I am unable to return and therefore am stuck with masks that don’t fit. I will give them to the men in my family and donate the rest...

Nice but SHRINK once washed

These masks do what they say. I bought them for my family however once I washed them, they shrunk so much that only my daughter (small teen) can wear them. They do not fit my husband or son at all, and they are too tight on me to be comfortable. Great for pre-teen/small teens but no good for adults.

Bigger faces, beware

Unwashed, these masks are quite nice — well made, soft, and fit well. However, when washed in hot water and dried before use, expect significant shrinkage. My recommendation would be to wash these in hot water, and hang dry. I don't have an exceptionally large face. In fact, I'd say it's an average 40 y/o male face. However, these masks do not quite fit after washing in hot water and running through the dryer. My eyeglasses would barely stay on because my ears were being pulled out from the sides of my head. After washing, they fit my wife perfectly. That said, as mentioned before, they are well made, comfortable and reusable, keeping waste out of landfills. Just avoid if you require a larger fit.

Exactly what I was looking for

Breathable, light weight but not flimsy. I work in film production and have to change out masks frequently. These ones are easy to breath in and dont pull your ears. Better than using the disposable for sure and isnt giving me any skin irritation as others have. The only thing is they are cotton so they shrink but I have been able to stretch them out after washing and drying
