Easy and fun!
This is a review of both the rose gold and hibiscus colors. I have salt and pepper hair that is significantly silver and do not color my hair. I know it is said in many places that this does not cover gray hair. I was not trying to cover gray hair solidly and entirely to make it look as if I did not have gray hair, but was hoping for some fun pink highlights and decided to give it a try. I figured if you can't dye your hair a fun pink color when working remotely in the middle of a pandemic, when can you? I first purchased the trial size packet of rose gold. A lot of reviews mentioned that this packet was not enough for their hair and they needed two packets, so I bought two. However, with hair that goes past my shoulders a bit, I found one packet to be just fine. The one thing that struck me with rose gold was the scent. The perfume smell was totally overwhelming. It was not an unpleasant smell, except in how strong it was. In fact, I noticed that smell in my hair for at least two weeks, even though I was washing it, there always seemed to be some of that smell left behind. The instructions say to leave it on for about 5 to 7 minutes. Based on reviews I decided to leave it on for about 15 minutes. Instructions say to separate your hair into different sections and be really meticulous about application. I couldn't be bothered with that and honestly treated it like hair conditioner. I showered first and washed my hair, towel dried it, and then applied the mask to damp hair the way I would use conditioner, trying to make sure I coated all sections of my hair reasonably equally. When I went back into the shower to rinse it out, there was significant pink color in the run-off water, but it did not stain the bathtub nor my hands. It made my hair look like a bronzy/brown pink that was very subtle, and I felt I could probably even get away with it in my conservative job. It definitely looked more pink in brighter light and sunshine. The photo with my face blacked out is the rose gold color. I wash my hair about every 3 days since it is very dry, and I could still see it in my hair, even though it was much more faint, after at least 6 washes. Most people who saw my hair complimented me on my purple or lavender hair. Almost no one identified it as being pink, which is fine by me since I would have purchased it in purple if this brand had it. I really liked the color very much, but wanted to try the Hibiscus to see if I could get more punch to the pink color. I then ordered the trial size packet of hibiscus. I applied at the same way as the rose gold and left it on about 25 minutes. I noticed the scent was much less on the hibiscus than rose gold and not overwhelming. I really like how this one came out - see the photo with my hand over my face. it is definitely a much brighter color of pink, and I love how the highlighting changes and is much more interesting with the different contrast of my silver hair versus some of the darker areas. After the first 3 washes it did start to fade, although even after about 8 washes you could still see a slight lavender color, especially out in the sun. The one thing that really surprised me though about hibiscus is that it stained my hands, unlike rose gold. Since rose gold did not stain my hands, it did not occur to me to wear gloves. I ended up having to use an old trick from beet juice on my hands, which was sea salt and lemon juice scrub, to get that crime scene look off my hands, but I still had some pink in between my fingers and around my fingernails for a day. It did not stay in the bathtub, and I was concerned that it might rub off on my white pillowcase, but it also did not stain anything. Some reviews have mentioned how their hair felt really dried out from it, but I find it really moisturizing and I have dry hair. I like very much how it felt and looked after using the mask, and I have since purchased the large tube of hibiscus and colored it again. It's definitely a fun change, and I like that it is not something permanent that I am stuck with. The Hibiscus did seem to linger for a long time, even very faintly, so if you're looking for something that will be completely gone, I'm not sure how long that would take, depending on how porous your hair is.

Ok lemme tell you...
UPDATE: ok, so I’ve been using this for a minute now and I felt the need to update and add another star (note: I never come back once I made up my mind). My hair is naturally red and pretty coppier - it’s lost it’s ompfh because as I get older the vibrancy has faded quite a bit. I’ve been mixing some of this with my conditioner each time I wash my hair (below), and my hair looks almost exactly as it did in my 20s. I’m actually pretty impressed. I’m still not sure how long the color lasts per say, as I was my hair bi-weekly and have been using this with mixed every time I was it. Mixing it has prolonged the life of the product, and I think probably has helped give it a more subtle feel. I haven’t had any bleeding issues, even in rain the color hasn’t melted onto things around me; which is an irrationally fear I always have with hair color. I really want to try some other colors now! My hair has been looking kinda blah and I wanted an easy way to spruce it up a little. I've been asking my sister (she does the hair by trade) about these kinda of color depositing conditioners for a hot minute and she has made less than enthusiastic commentary about it. Then she linked me some IG post about these moroccanoil masks and I'm like, ok I'll take that as a hint to buy one. So, I did. I got the copper color because I'm not allowed to have "fun" colors at work and my hair is naturally a sort of blonde-ish auburn that looks coppery anyway (again, just wanted to spruce it up a little). I applied it pre-washing to dry hair, as I do this occasionally with regular conditioner. Things I noticed: I have super thick, naturally curly hair that falls below my bra line - so it's pretty long. I mixed with a conditioner I usually use because I didn't want to accidentally turn my hair orange and thought this would tone it down. I still had to use probably half the tube of this to cover my hair - and it still probably wasn't complete covered. But whatever. I was NOT expecting to end up looking like an oompa loompa by the end. My hands were covered look orange yellow, anywhere on my body also had streaks on it from where my hair touched (I'd wear a shirt you don't really care if it is ruined - I was pre-shower, ready to go, so I don't know if it washes out of clothing). It did mostly wash off of *ME* in my shower though, maybe a little yellowing around my nails lingered for a few more hand washes. The color is pretty subtle - which is what I personally was going for. The bottom of my hair has more blonde, as it naturally lightens and I had some left over bleaching from a hair color of the past - so it stuck well to these parts and makes my hair look a little darker over all from the effect. I'm unsure how long it'll last. I only wash my hair twice a week, so I'm hoping it'll cling for a minute. 30$ a tube is too much to use this every single time considering how much I needed for my hair. I did not notice any "staining" afterwards (which is one thing my sister forewarned me about a lot of these products). I'm not sure it added any extra moisture to my hair, in that area, it feels about the same it does after any other wash. Overall, I would probably use it again. I don't hate it, but it is a little expensive for as much as I need, depending on how well it holds the color. I couldn't afford to use it every wash. With how subtle the copper turned out, I kind of want to try another color now, thinking if it was subtle enough, I could maybe get away with trying a rose gold color out.

Best color depositing mask I’ve used!
This was a fantastic product and I’m planning to buy their other colors too. Provides rich, saturated color and moisturizes hair at the same time. The smell is fantastic. I was really blown away with how well this colored my hair. Will definitely buy again and recommend for desired rose gold hair color results.

Exceeded expectations!
Didn’t expect to like the result as much as I did! Application was easy and it smells so good. This is right after the initial wash! What I love most about this product is that it’s temporary, didn’t do any damage to my curls, and is really hydrating! Def recommend if you’re looking to change up your look and don't want to make the commitment!

Satsuma
Reviewing the copper shade After trying the cocoa and finding it just too dark, I went for the copper. I wanted a kind of light brown/ copper shade. Oh. My. God. Traffic cone, ginger spice, traffic light, mandarin, satsuma, orange, Donald trump… anything fluorescent orange you can think of that’s what happened. My hair is bright bright orange. I have medium brown hair originally, slightly porous due to previous dyes. Honestly unless you are going for the orange Love Island look I would stay away!

Amazing!!!
Wow just wow! During lockdown with all hairdressers shut I was at a loss with my blonde hair with root and greys :( I took to this product as I had seen a review on it and thought I would get it a go and as pink is my favourite colour I thought why not. I used this product and mixed with my own hair mask, left it on for 20mins and rinsed out. I was amazed with the results! So what started with fun with my hair due to boredom turned out amazing. I have had so many lovely comments off work colleagues, family, friends etc that I feel this is now my new hair look, the pink will stay for now :) The colour fades a little after each wash. I tend to top up every 2 weeks and it brings it back to what it was before. 1 tube lasts me atleast 3 uses and I have long hair. Leaves my hair feeling soft, shiny and healthy. I cannot recommend thus product enough!! I will definitely purchase again and for £28 its a bargain! Cheaper then a trip to the hairdressers!!!

Gentle conditioning colour..
I bought this product as I had very soft regrowth hair after chemotherapy. My hair was very light grey, white in places so wanted a 'cheer up' without using a harsh product. This colour is ideal! Very subtle, so possibly not suitable if your hair is darker. I have received so many compliments about how lovely it is, thus making me look, and feel, better. The condition is fabulous so well worth the expense.

Amazing ????
The media could not be loaded. I got the shade Bordeaux (red shade) I got recommended this by a colleague at work, because I feel like whenever I dye my hair with box dye, my hair just feels dry and has that nasty chemical smell. I let this mask sit for about an hour for good measure, and the results are amazing ( see photos). After not dying my hair for a couple of months and seeing my roots, using this has changed my life after one use…. My hair looks amazing and feels so lovely and smooth and soft, best of all my hair smells amazing. Highly recommend to anyone!!!!!
