It's a beast

I like Dewalt tools in general. This is no exception. It has great ergonomics. Particularly, I like that its vibrations don't hurt my wrist like other brands did after a few hours of breaking the concrete patio. I wish it would come with longer cable, but it is workable. I love that it came with a great heavy-duty case that can hold all the drill bits and chisels.

Burrows through concrete like butter. Not hard on the arm or wrist. Well worth every penny.

One step forward, two steps back

This is a great hammer drill that drills through concrete with ease. It is my second Dewalt model, I owned the first (D25013) for about 10 years previously. There are some things I preferred about the D25013 though: - the cable was longer, this one basically always needs an extension lead - the D25013 come with a very handy box with compartments that allowed for storing accessories and even had clips to secure SDS drill bits during transport. The new one just has a plain box, so everything in it just flies about. - drill bits were easier to remove on the D25013, the chuck on the new one is harder to grip, particularly with gloves - the new drill is physically bigger than the old one, which probably helps handling, but quite honestly doesn’t seem necessary compared to the power / performance. Nonetheless, would recommend as a good hammer drill

Powerful drill that is very effective.

I won't lie. Drilling a big old hole in concrete, right through the stone inclusions, is a lot of fun. Yeah, you will need to get the right bits, this isn't a typical drill, but it isn't afraid of anything. It's powerful and extremely effective. It's not something you use a lot, but in the cases where you will use it this drill is STILL less expensive than hiring someone to do the job for you. It's one of my favorite power tools.

Packs a shockless punch for its lightweight construction

Used the first time for breaking up a 18x12 rectangle in concrete driveway which was cut latticed previously using a circular saw, for a lightweight construction, packs a solid but near shockless punch to tear up concrete in hammer only mode, hammer drill mode is equally effective, loud at high revs, ear protection recommended, gives off a odor (kinda sweet) of burning lubricant, bits had oil at the attaching ends after use. Will update after more use.

High quality, comfortable to hold

In the end, I returned it, but not because there was anything wrong with it. I realized I didn't need this much "horsepower" to drill small holes. My old corded drill managed to do what I needed at the time, so I thought my money would be better spent elsewhere. If I needed this much drill, I'd get this one again in a heartbeat!

Taladro perforador Dewalt con Shocks

The media could not be loaded. Tiene buen diseño, lo preferí sobre el Bosch SDS plus Bulldog Xtreme por que tiene más potencia. Lo que no me gusto es que el selector avance y retroceso esta duro, de igual forma al pasar de rotomartillo a cincelado esta duro también. Espero que solo haya sido el mío y que con el tiempo afloje un poco, decidí aun así no devolverlo. Otro desacierto de este equipo es la varilla de profundidad, por lo que pagué (4538 MX) creo que se merece traer una varilla metálica y no una de vil plástico que se ve malísima de calidad. No puedes ajustar el cincel de manera manual como con un Bosch, tienes que ponerlo en modo rotomartillo para darle el ángulo que desees. Referente a la absorción de impacto, tal vez ayude pero no elimina la vibración del todo, se siente cómo se transmite al brazo, quizás menos que un equipo sin esta característica. Se agradece mucho el maletín para transporte, no es de un plástico grueso pero ayuda mucho, sus seguros son muy simples. Es muy ruidoso así que te recomiendo usar protección ocular y para oídos. Pesa 3.4 kg y es hecho en China. En la tienda grandota de color naranja compré el maletín de brocas para concreto en 699 MX, se me hizo muy completo que andar comprando brocas por separado y no se me han oxidado ni nada. Algunos comentarios mencionan que tira aceite, la verdad lo he usado muy poco para comentar referente a eso, tal vez solo es un excedente del aceite lubricante, si me preocupaba eso pero no presente ese detalle. Cualquier cosa actualizaré en un futuro. Por último en modo taladro no es para concreto, para eso usa el modo rotomartillo. Viene con un manual que te ayuda mucho. Todo bien por parte de Amazon.

Excelente producto

Muy buen articulo. Se siente de materiales de calidad. El sistema anti vibración esta más o menos. En general bien. lo comparo con GBH2-28L El sistema de anti vibración es mejor gbh El cable, aunque son del mismo calibre, viene mejor recubierto el D25263K gbh viene con un control de retroceso, muy bueno, el D25263K no El estuche de D25263K viene en dos versiones, uno de un plástico delgado color negro intenso con las letras serigrafiadas y la otra es rígida con las letras en 3D de color negro opaco como quemado (allí el que te toque). El tamaño de largo, son lo mismo. El cuerpo es mas delgado de D25263K El mango en D, es mas grueso el de D25263K y el mango auxiliar viene mejor engomado el de D25263K. En cuanto a la fuerza, los dos la tienen. Cuando utilizo la función de perforación o cincelado al aire, los golpes de D25263K se sienten en seco y se escucha de esa forma, por asi decirlo. En cambio, gbh se siente como "amortiguado" y el sonido es suave. En fin, es una buena herramienta de trabajo

Excelente compra

Lo he usado con un cincel Bosch Viper para romper piedra; con un cincel Makita para quitar rebabas de cemento; y con una broca Makita para hacer agujeros. En todos los casos me sorprendió su rendimiento. Antes había hecho agujeros con otro taladro Dewalt que no es Sds y por tanto no gestionaba tan bien los impactos, éste rotomartillo concentra mejor los golpes en la broca/cincel y no en la mano gracias a su sistema Shocks, y la diferencia se siente. No es de los equipos más robustos pero tampoco de los más sencillos, por el precio que he pagado por él, puedo decir que su valor excede su precio.

Versatile

I can drill 12 inch deep, half inch diameter holes into old concrete all day. The hammer only option is great since I can attach a simple chissel bit. The reverse function is pretty much a necessity. No matter how careful you are, you'll manage to jam a bit at least once. No problem when you can flip it in reverse.

Handy and powerful

for the price of renting a bigger unit for a week you can own this one. From my experience this one does have less power than the bigger more expensive units, but for knocking some small holes or chipping a new washer drain it is perfect. I originally bought it to use it once and sell it just to save on rental cost, but i might end up keeping it. Handy tool for sure.
