Not Sheer On Darker Skin but Works Wonders! On Dark Spots/Blenishes
So this isn’t something darker skinned people (meaning anyone with melanin????) can wear in the daytime. It is not sheer enough. However, it works incredibly well. I put on at night or sometimes on a weekend when I don’t have to go out. You may look a little ghostly but when you wake up you will see immediate results in texture, brightness and slowing down breakouts. Using over time at night I’ve noticed my dark spots have started to fade. Love this product line and so glad I found this!

Oily skin people who struggle with acne! This is for us!! Mario Badescu's Special Healing Powder has been a complete game changer for my skin! This amazing powder works wonders in reducing the appearance of my hormonal acne and keeping it under control. Its formula is so gentle yet effective that it doesn't irritate my skin like some other acne treatments can. I just dab a little on my blemishes before bed and wake up to visibly clearer skin in the morning! I also use it throughout the day over my foundation to keep my skin from becoming oily and shiny. I saw results pretty quickly with Mario Badescu's Special Healing Powder. Within just a few days of using it, I noticed a significant reduction in the size and redness of my acne. It didn't completely clear up my skin overnight, but with consistent use over a couple of weeks, my complexion has become much clearer and smoother. Of course, everyone's skin is different, so your results may vary. I have heard some people mention that it can be a bit drying if used too often, so it's important to use it in moderation and always follow up with a good moisturizer. Additionally, as with any skincare product, it's possible to have an allergic reaction or irritation, so it's always a good idea to patch test a small area before applying it all over your face. Mario Badescu also has a fantastic line of moisturizers that pair really well with the Special Healing Powder. I personally love their A.H.A. & Ceramide Moisturizer, which is super hydrating and helps to balance the skin's natural moisture levels. Another great option, if you have oily skin like me, is their Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30, which provides both hydration and sun protection. Ultimately, the best moisturizer for you will depend on your skin type and specific needs, so don't be afraid to experiment a bit and find the perfect match! Kills Acne & Oil Fast! Very Gentle, No Scent!
This product is best used as a medication or as a "prep" product on clean, dry skin. I purchased this and the "Buffering lotion" to use in combo for a heinous cystic acne breakout that started in September and has resisted every treatment known to man. It's so bad that I've sat with masks and peels and treatments for hours hoping to alleviate just a little of the inflammation or spreading of the breakout. After months of enduring this never-ending breakout, I purchased this powder to use with the Buffering lotion and the two combined started clearing my breakout in 2 days! After about 5 days of using both... all but 2 of the cysts are just dry, tiny bumps and the others are gone with just some redness remaining. I cannot believe how fast this worked and how gentle the formula is. The powder isn't nearly as effective as the Buffering lotion, but it has its own virtues. I use the poof and put it all over my face (except your eyes) and layer extra over actual breakouts. Then I use my fingers and actually rub it into my skin until it disappears. After that you can apply your moisturizer and/or make up without a problem and let it work as a base layer. At night I do the same ritual, except I apply the Buffering lotion right after the powder and rub them both in as well as possible. I wait a bit and then apply my nighttime moisturizer and you're done! You can use this with make up as a setting powder, as well. This helps control oil and makes pores/skin look cleaner and more even toned with or without make up. The yellow tone reduces the redness and the powder treats and absorbs without drying out your skin. There is virtually no scent unlike most sulfur-products and can be worn daily to treat acne and oil invisibly, so I'm very pleased. The powder is a little hard to dispense and the poof has no ribbon (handle) so you tend to fumble to get the poof out without getting too much or making a mess. I'd also prefer this be a talc-free formula as its unhealthy to breathe and if you accidentally get this in your nose or down your throat, it's irritating, so be careful to use it in a ventilated area or turn your bathroom fan on. Definitely give this a try because the fact that it helps breakouts and oil invisibly is something most other acne products can't claim. And the price is extremely reasonable, too. ***The first photo shows me with FULL make up attempting to cover up the heinous chin and mouth break-out (ie: base, concealer, foundation, and powder). Even with maximum coverage and a forgiving photo, you can see the lumps and bumps. The second photo is recent and you can see that those lumps and bumps are gone with just a BB Cream as my coverage. The second photo is updated after continued use as of March 2017. (Yes, my haircolor is VERY different....I switched from platinum blonde back to brunette between my original review and this update. But they are both photos of me from December 2016 to March 2017).****

Great product
This powder has exceeded my expectations so far. I've been using daily for about three weeks, and it has *significantly* cut down on my oiliness and my acne has subsided. My skin is usually visibly shiny by midday, and while this doesn't completely eliminate it, I can tell it absolutely makes a difference. I typically use right after primer, and then again to set my makeup, using both/either the included puff or a regular powder brush. It is slightly green in color in the container, but I feel this helps with camouflaging redness. Has a scent but it isn't unpleasant or lingering. So far I am very happy with this product and will continue buying!

Great oil control
Really like this product to keep oiliness at bay plus I live in a super humid climate so this is a staple in my make up regimen. Use it daily - great line of products. Use several items in their line and have for years.

This thing works out wonderfully, if you have flare-ups you add a bit of this and there you go.Acne cleared up and redness diminished almost instantly. Worked here,great value nice packaging-- not too feminine, neutral.This is more of a medical powder I guess.Can only recommend

Impresionada con este producto
Soy propensa al acné, con una piel rayando a lo delicado , por lo que siempre soy temerosa que al momento de comprar algún producto de la cara pueda esta hacerme daño, tengo que decir que compre este producto con algunas reservas pese a los buenos comentarios que encontré , me llego súper rápido , todo muy bien empacando y de inmediato lo probé, mi sorpresa fue que a parte de no dañarme mi piel , me ayudó un 80% en prevenir la aparición de más granitos , no activó la erupción del acné , ojo es necesario que diferencien qué esté producto no es para curar el acné o que te quite por arte de magia ( de un día para otro ) los granitos o acné que ya te salieron y son súper visibles , sino para prevenir la aparición de granitos, un ejemplo fueron los granitos que me salieron antes de que llegara el producto ,conforme me ponía el polvo por las noches se fueron secando y al final del 3 día desaparecieron no dejaron esa molesta manchita que por lo general deja los granitos en mi cara , y los intentos de aparición de granos ( cuando te das cuenta que se empieza a ver rojo o sientes un bultito y sabes que eso se convertirá en un horrible grano al día siguiente) se quedaron en eso en intento ya que al momento de poner el polvo en la noche en esa zona al día siguiente ya volvía a la normalidad y sin ningún grano . Definitivamente es un producto que lo seguiré comprando , y será parte de los productos favoritos para usar como rutina de cuidado en la noche , a mi me funciono.

Buen producto, para la rutina diaria piel grasa y proacne.
Es muy bueno para ayudar a la cicatrización y la inflamación de los granitos. Funciona de maravilla sobretodo cuando te la dejas toda la noche. Se nota la diferente en la mañana. No seca el acné quistico, pero otros granos más leves si. También ayuda para disminuir la rojez y el brillo en el rostro. Aunque no recomiendo usar gran cantidad durante el día ya que los tonos verdes del polvo se alcanzan a ver si no usas una base encima, como yo que no me maquilló, me debo moderar cuando lo uso en el día.

Muy bueno
El bote cito es muy pequeño pero cumple su propósito, es verde pero no se nota mucho lo tengo usado unos días y no me ha parecido brotes de acné veo bastante calmada mi piel es un producto que lo volvería a comprar, me deja la piel sin grasa lo que es nuy bueno para las personas que tienen piel grasa o mixta, lo uso en las noches o cuando ando en mi casa que no salgo lo recomiendo bastante
